My two friends and I drove to the house where our cheating wives were having dates with their lovers. We waited until they went to their rooms, then I damaged the electrical wiring, and the house went dark. My friend took out six combat grenades and said, "It's time to start the real brutal revenge..." But this was just the beginning of their nightmare...

Nice. Go to another country, buy a lodge, and you're in business. No issues with immigration, no issues with the complexities of buying property as foreigners, no dealing with a foreign bureaucracy about getting permits to house guests and serve food, no learning the regulations affecting housing and food and being prepared to be inspected, no problem licensing the boat and having it inspected. Could take at least a year. No mention of any of it. I know I'm quibbling -- that isn't what the story is about -- but still it's an awfully large omission.

The alienation of affection would have been better than all the childish pranks. Must be nice to have so much money that you can turn down 1 million dollars.

Great little story. Guess a degree from Princeton University is not of much importance when you’re filthy rich, huh? Too bad that the story did not include something romantic for Woody. That would have been very nice.

saltpeter and sugar smoke bombs. I remember making those in the 1960s and throwing them into the girls' tents at the girl scout camp. The boy scout camp was across a creek from them so we would canoe over at night.
