An interesting and entertaining video, Natasha! You have really made it very worthwhile and informative, giving your viewers a certain insight into your daily routine, your income and expenses, and the prices in an entertaining way. Thanks for that! It is always remarkable, especially compared to local conditions here in Germany, how cheap bus or taxi rides are in particular in your country! Your job certainly lets you get around quite a bit, but it also offers the opportunity to visit other places, parks, etc. on the fly and in that context. In any case, the festive decorations in your home are also beautiful! Here, practically everything is over again and the Christmas markets are mostly closed again. I wish you both and all your viewers on your channel a pleasant turn of the year and a happy and successful New Year in 2025! 🥳🎆🎊🥂

I really appreciated this video because you reminded me of my mother. Our family lived in NW Pennsylvania…cold weather like yours but with lake effect snow. My mother was a Church Organist and she taught piano lessons during the week at her students homes. Most of her students only took piano lessons because their parents payed for them, most did not even practice between lessons, and hardly any of them progressed beyond beginner level. Teaching piano lessons was hardly profitable, but it did help my sister pay for her college courses. My father’s construction job paid the bills. It was interesting to see what life is like outside of Moscow. In the States there is a lot of rural poverty. I enjoyed this vlog, thank you for all the work you did to make it.

This video was particularly exciting to watch as I am a private tutor myself. I have some questions regarding tutoring. What are the ways that you find students to tutor? In my country, the payment is typically monthly basis. Is it the same for you or do you get paid after every single lesson? Is there a standard amount that every student needs to pay or does it vary depending on their financial background? Can you get by with the earnings from tutoring or do you wish the payment was better? I am sorry if I am asking too many questions. I'm just genuinely curious to learn the difference between Bangladesh and Russia in this matter.
@RusGirlVlog3 күн бұрын
@@TheMainManBD hi, thank you for your comment 🤗 1) We have a website where you can find different specialists, not just tutors; 2) mostly I get paid after every lesson and the payment doesn't depend on my students' financial possibilities; 3) of course I wish the payment to be higher. At least, I changed my price on the website already, I made it 100 rub more.
@TheMainManBD3 күн бұрын
That is fascinating. Here, typically good students in higher education get sought after for tutoring. A lot of people use posters to advertise their tutoring service. We do have some orgs that work as middlemen for tutors to find students and vice versa. But we don't have any such website as you mentioned. At least not to my knowledge. What is the name of this website that you spoke of?

Thanks for this, Natasha - very useful. I'm hoping to move to Russia in 2025 and work (perhaps part-time; I'm actually retired) as an English teacher. Your fee seems quite low - my Russian tutor charges me 2 or 3 times what you get.
@RusGirlVlog3 күн бұрын
Actually, it's the highest price for a primary school tutor exactly in my city. And I barely can find students for this fee, because it's expensive for people. In Moscow, the fee is way higher, of course.
@RicknMorty852 күн бұрын
You only charge 7$ - $11 per lesson? Wow thats incredibly cheap? Is that per hour? Here in Australia it's around $40-60 AUD per hour of lessons.
@RusGirlVlog2 күн бұрын
@@RicknMorty85 yes, it's per hour. And it's the highest price for primary school tutoring in my city. Many people say no, because it's expensive for them.
@RicknMorty852 күн бұрын
@@RusGirlVlog Very intersting. Seems like that one hour pays for your ride to and from there and the time taken to get there. Do you earn any profit? Im guessing you would need to have like 5+ lessons a day in order to make a decent living.

@@RicknMorty85 aren't 800 rub a profit? And I don't want to have 5+ lessons every day. I had them when I was 10 years younger. I was leaving home at 8 am and getting back at 9 pm. I don't want such a schedule anymore.
