I recommend, get yourself at work and backtest this setup as you would trade real money so only the time zones you can look at charts. Try testing the asian range on a low tf or test the setup on 15m/1hr charts, this way a setup takes some time to form (less trades) but it is harder to miss as you have a larger time window so basically you could still be at work, take a bathroom break and see if a setup is formed and place an order

No matter what I'd say start with the 2022 series, it gives a really good understanding which will then make this concept work much smoother/easier for you. Because I became profitable with the 2022 series first, this kinda just "clicked". It's the same model, just a different entry method basically. @@malluscout2134

@DodgysDD ok this sounds a little complicated. Ict says it's the last upside candle/+FVG or downside candle/-FVG. When price closes fast above or below its balanced = BPR. But this makes it at the same time inversion right. Or do I get something wrong? Could you do a very short video on this maybe to clear the confusion. This would help me and others. Ryan, got a question for yah! With the inversion FVG strategy why would you not look for an entry around the 50% mark on a retracement back into that FVG that got inverted? If you look at the examples you showed almost everyone of them hit the 50% retracement in the FVG. It looks like it most likely retraces before hitting the internal Liquidity targets in a lot of the examples you are showing. Just thought I’d ask. Appreciate you brotha

yes! this is optional and up to you. i have been trying to wait for retrace more but sometimes i feel like i’m going to miss the move so i get in on the close

The answer is, because you’re gonna miss quite a few setups that never retrace back (not even back inside the IFVG), and that’s okay as long as you can put up with it. Sounds easy, but it’s pretty common to make mistakes after missing a setup if your mental game is not on point. That being said, there are some ways to anticipate whether or not to expect a retracement, but you’ll have to study the different ways price inverses a FVG.

Yo bro I appreciate your content but I have a question, I have backtested this strat (on fx replay) and I have noticed that sometimes when I see multiple FVG ' s on the 1 min chart and that makes for example an singular one on the 5 min that the 5 min FVG gets inversed but on the 1 min price still respects the last 1 min FVG and then price just goes to my SL if I entered on the 5 min inversion. Should I just wait until every FVG on every TF gets inversed or is it something else? I have no clue?

if you don’t know the bias or are unsure then wait for every. but if u are CONFIDENT in bias and we have eqh or eql then u can take the 1

This model works in crypto as well. More specifically, you want to wait for a HTF liquidity pool to be raided, then use an entry model to trade to the next HTF liquidity pool. Internal to External range liquidity and vice versa. Hope this helps.

How do you convince yourself of one bias? I often Find myself doing an analysis before market opens or London session, and Get a bias, but then i Find this Orderblock, and that FVG and that IFVG and that Balanced price range ect and my bias gets mixed and i end up switching bias and getting burned Any tips? Dodgy, I asked this the other day but maybe i wasn’t very clear - my bad… You say “this was on the 1m” or you say “this was on the 1hr” etc etc… i totally get the market is fractal and timeframe doesn’t really matter…but in your day to day trading, how do you know when to be on the 1m, the 3m, 5m, etc to catch the move? Do you have alerts for FVG creation and then hop over to see if a setup forms? Just curious if you typically are focusing on a single timeframe (or have a favorite), or if you actively monitor multiple timeframes and tickers at once via alerts to see if something is forming. I guess at least with needing a regular FVG as a prerequisite for a ifvg you can at least have a heads up every time…
