FTC/CFTC Risk Disclaimer - Please read this so you're 100% aware of the extreme risks associated with any type of trading and investing.
I’ve said for years and years and years - trading is extremely risky, and most people will lose all the money they try to trade with - even the people who follow the information I provide. Trading is a skillset that is difficult to learn, and I make it look easy because I’ve been trading for 7+ years. As with any high performing skillset in life, trading is NOT easy.
Your likelihood of consistently making money trading is abysmally low, whether you learn on your own or whether you follow the things that myself or others teach.
It’s like becoming a doctor, many people start pre-med and medical school, but only a tiny fraction of them succeed and actually become doctors. The average success rate of trading is even worse that that! Becoming a doctor is obviously not for everyone, and becoming a trader is obviously not for everyone, too.
I (and my company, MissionFX, LLC) make NO guarantees/promises/express direct or indirect representation that you’ll achieve any specific result trading, regardless of whether you’re following my free or paid content.
I’m just some random guy on the internet who is sharing what’s worked for me - I have no clue what will work for you because there are a million contributing factors that will determine whether or not you will make money trading.
Do NOT take into account any information that I share anywhere on the internet as the basis for your trading decisions. I’m not responsible for your success, nor am I responsible for your failures.
Read the full risk disclaimer on my website below, so that you’re 100% aware of the risks associated with trading - then you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you want to continue following any of the information I share (or continue to pursue trading in general).

After 9 weeks using this concept, my demo account has already gained +100%. Using 2-3% risk now as I get more comfortable with the drawdown. It really boils down to experience in trading AND risk management. Also I have added some sort of confirmation criteria when price goes to a S/R zone, waiting for momentum shift before entering. Sometimes prices just slices through a zone and you just have to wait for it to settle down to a zone before trading against it. Thank you again Nick for this simple yet very powerful trading framework!

Another added benefit is that it doesn’t matter how many people actually learned to trade this same way because it will only help the process work unlike other methods. I pondered trading this way for years but never pulled the trigger and now I realize I would be wealthy by now seeing as it was 2003 when I started thinking this way. Then I got overwhelmed bu all the other methods and left the trading for 17 years. Oh well, can’t look back except to learn from my past mistakes. Time to make money. Thanks Nick! You’re the man!

It dawned on me recently that this might be the best time EVER to get into trading because there has never been such a MASSIVE influx of retail traders in history and because of what you said, the fact that the more people playing by the SAME rules the more likely it is to happen. I really think we are at the beginning of forcing the market makers to change the way they play the game. We might have 10 or less years where the sheer number of retail traders using similar techniques are not just playing the market but actually controlling it just by having a somewhat unified understanding of the way the market SHOULD move thus making it move that way. Good luck brother!

Managed to pay off my debt by 2019 and currently have a house and 250k total in investments (combo of profit share, 401k and a brokerage account). I'm not very knowledgeable in investing, so I just have my investing currently in index funds mainly voo, but have been putting a lot into schd the past few months. I dunno if that's the optimal strategy, but psychologically it is very set it and forget it, and prevents me from obsessing over individual stock performance.

What effectively happened in the first example is something close to this. opened buy. Lost that one and realized a small loss by opening the so called hedge. Basically the same as closing the position. opened another buy later and realized a bigger gain. That's it. No so called hedging required.
@combofist5024

your second example was a very good example of things that could go wrong. other viewers probably could not see the problem in it. but to be fair, I need to point it out. I watched the second example 3 times because I wanted to learn it. at 27:13 instead of closing out the long trade at break even and adding another risk to it (2k), that was what you showed us during the first hedge (2k loses) and third hedge (2k loses). you added another long, simply because you already saw the next candle already hit your buy stop (another 2k loses hedge). potentially 7k hedging losses. and sooner or later, it might turn into a disaster. because now, you need a 1 to 7 risk-to-reward trade to get out of these losing trades. Nick, I think you have to be honest with your viewers. it is ok to admit your mistakes. it is the next green candle that makes you change your trading plan. Adding another long trade was not the initial strategy.

I guess props for actually posting the video that really turned out to be a disaster and not so simple managing 7 hedges and coming within 2k of blowing up the example account. Dear Nick, a question. From about 20 minutes into the video, when you have an open long trade and the corresponding short hedge was hit too, when price then bounced back to the original long position, you closed the long and replaced it higher. I understand you reason behind it is that price could bounce at the zone, bringing you to a clean profit. But as chance of this happening is only 50%, wouldn't it make more sense just to leave both positions as they are? ...So I actually drew this situation out on paper and I can think of 3 possible outcomes for price movements. In only 1 situation (= price bounces at the resistance level and gets you cleanly to profit directly, as described above). In the other 2 situations (either price just flying up straight waving bye-bye or price going up only slightly, just to tip you over into a bigger hedge to only then plummet towards the TP) you had been better off leaving the hedge as it was. As you always say: price can go either up or down, so it's 50/50, this means that there is a 2/3 = 66% chance of being better off leaving the hedge as it was. What do you think?

I have a job that I work 12 hours a day... 2 days, then 2 nights, then 3 1/2 days off, rinse and repeat. On each shift I am out the door at 5am or pm, then home at 5 am or pm. Too tired to trade after the nights. Too tired to get up at 6am in the morning on my days off, as I am recuperating from my job. The markets open at 6:30 am in BC, Canada. I do a weekly/daily analysis and do swing trades. Your strategies work pretty good. Simple and straight forward. I would really like to do the 5 min and 15 min scalps; I think there is so much potential for me if I could be up for the volatile times to trade. but with the first hedged trade you took profit on the sell. With the second one where you closed your buy at BE and got hedged again you did not close your buy position in profit. Why is that? I'm getting that its a floating loss and you manage your trade but its also compounding floating losses. Its like you said, sometimes it does go in a losing streak and blows your account. But I honestly do believe this can work but there is a reason why the drawdown is so bad and that there def is a possibility to blow accounts also

Isnt spread a problem adding up every time you hedge, making your position not a 50/50 but the more trades the more loss you make? Dont you loose overview of all these open positions? Do you close each position and open two new ones once new level gets hit? Furthermore isnt the space between the order and the hedge order adding up where dead losses are created? And what about gaps or the marked moving sooo fast that you are unable to open the hedge position? Sad that you want to sell a product. That keeps asking myself why would you sell somethinig if you become so profitable with trading? I have one main last question: Do you use CFD, Options or Margin? How do you profit from pip-moves that you make up for the broker-fees? Thanks a lot. An answer would be appreciated. Greetings.

This approach works if you have a second stream of income like Nick does with the memberships you guys are paying him. If you somehow end up trading full time with this you would need much money to sit out the months or perhaps years of drawdown. I am using his way of managing risk mainly on the one hour based on my own fib strategy which of course gives me support and resistance zones. I’m gettin out of my hedges trades after some hours or latest after one day which allows me to make it full-time since 2 years without selling courses ;) But man maybe I should also sell signals and courses because when you do the maths, Nick makes mir money by selling to you guys then he does in trading…

Use it on smaller time frames, like 1H. And if you don't have deep pockets use small lot sizes, making sure you have for at least 10 orders. using a daily chart. I suggest using the H1 as confirmation. You might leave some pips on the table. But you should avoid almost all the losing trades. What you are looking for on the H1 is confirmation of your bounce off the zone idea. So. Candles with obvious rejection Smaller candles going into the zone. more and more opposing candles showing up. Multiple tests and holds of the zone. And the best ones are..... break of previous high or low coming into the zone. Preferably with a retest and rejection going reverse to the zone. establishing a new higher high or lower low on the now reverse move.

The simplicity 😂 I love it... any time I trade I use this and win alot,,, but I don't trsde alot... I'm addicted to my love company and my ira..Ira... witch I don't take any risk... I just buy every week... and i have 100 stock limit with 50% bet companies that fall in my circle of confidence and know dividend payers. N my day to day account I have one huge bet using huge long term weekly and monthly support witch I'm positioned right above...

Interesting concept, however this strategy would fail any prop firm requirements as you would end up taking a big account drawdown on a big trend, and be kicked out, hence why most hedging bots do well until they don't. If you took the same probabilities on a coin flip toss and had risk management strategies to match, you would do well for quite a while, that's why I think Nick resets his account and does not continue with the same account, you have a probability of 1/128 chance where you get 7 losers in a row, 8 losers in a row is likely to be just 1/256 times. 3 losers in a row is 1/8 times therefore manage risk and number of accounts accordingly. Nick, do you have publicly available your broker statements showing that you are a millionaire from trading? Not having a go, just asking if you do. Best of luck Nick and thanks for the video. Trading is hard until it isn't.

hmm maybe make a live test on paper trade, cos trading view cancel the other option out. Say you have a short position and it bounces back, and you wish top put in a buy options.. when the buy option hit, it cancel out the sell option and the buy option.. So maybe record a live test with paper trade to show, maybe i'm missing something??

I interviewed for his mentorship, and the person who interviewed me was honest; he informed me that I would need to apply for a broker that offers at least 500:1 to use Nick's strategy. All these brokers are in fact offshore and unregulated. He did say I can start by trading just around $500 with one of these brokers to limit my risk. But I am not comfortable with using offshore unregulated broker, therefore, I am still on the fence about making the payment and joining the paid member club. His program is not a scam, and they will not be more excited than you to let you onboard, literally. You will understand that you can't get rich quick and learning the strategy will take time and enough money to take all these positions hedging.

Thanks for this amazing information. Sincerely, I'm not sure if investing at this time is a good option. Pay attention to how often things fall apart. Despite reading charts and predictions from renowned investors from the past and present, I'm still seeking for a better way to invest my money because I still have some time before retiring. I want to create a strong and trustworthy portfolio in order to produce passive income.

The top experts however have access to confidential information and data that is not made available to the broader public. Being knowledgeable enough to use them successfully is quite another. Big returns, not changing stochastic are the key. Rewards and risks must be balanced. To reach your aim, pick the right size and turn your edge as often as necessary.

How would this type of hedging tactic work if you are trading for a prop firm that only allows a 5% daily and 10% total drawdown? Would you recommend trading smaller positions or rolling out before hitting those drawdown limits? Additionally, would you have any advice for when prop firms require you to place a stop loss with every trade? Learning so much from your videos but trying to figure out how to make your trading style work with prop firm rules. Thanks so much for the great content! ❤

Great work Nick, as usual. One point to make though: today's analysis, as probably most of the ones you've done in the last few weeks, was operated on a D chart. A more cautious eye would notice that from beginning to end, Sep 2018 to Mar 2019, there is a 7 months span, most of which is in a 20/35% DD. " And therein, as the Bard would tell us, lies the rub! ". Learning your chill is as important as identifying S/D zones and Invalidation zones :)
