The best thing Vokey did for you on the day was keep it fun (and a fair few incredible putting reads!). But mostly he just kept you enjoying the moment and treating it as a fun round, at least that's how I read it as a viewer. In terms of "best golfer on KZbin", I'd say you're one of the best content creators. Every video is fun, with a great standard of golf but also not taking the actual scores too seriously. You, Peter Finch, Taco and Sam are my favourite KZbinrs as well as Golf Life here in the UK (different standard of golf but very wholesome). Love your work Luke and team, long may it continue.

You would need a lot of golf creators out there to make a cut make sense, I don't know if there are enough big creators the PGA Tour would invite. But I still like a 36 hole event, either with a cut or without a cut. If the PGA Tour starts to plan it now for the Tour Championship next year I am sure they will get enough creators together and you can maybe leave one or two spots open as wildcards if someone explodes over the next year in the golf creator world

@@julianwelm5435 the problem with your idea is the US think all good golf creator players are from the USA, they are not, Peter Finch who has broken through in the US isn’t the best player in the UK. Obviously the PGAT are looking to tap into the creators subscriptions, and the US creators have the biggest numbers. Viewer numbers for the creator classic, thrash actual PGA events, which would be embarrassing. LIV gets the most viewers of any golf coverage, but they have started to crack ASIA, hence the new events in 2025 being in ASIA, LIV across all platforms get 3 million plus viewers, Creator Classic 1.5M normal PGAT event 750K. If a true creator event is to happen, it needs to either be started by the creators themselves, but that level of collaboration has all sorts of politics, or get Bryson and the other LIV players could get Greg Norman to get one going. Lukes Kwon’s pals in NZ would love it, as would Korean creators. I expect US viewers would be appalled at the prospect of LIV, get over Saudi Arabia, you buy their fuel, PIF own most of the major companies in the US, or at least are major shareholders, they even invested $3b in PGAT, so LIV is small beer by comparison.

I started golf this year right at the end of April. I was watching Good Good and the masters at the same time when the want to golf really hit me. While watching The Masters, I was on eBay scowering for a set of used irons. I got a set of used Titleist AP-1's and then went to Play-it-again sports for some woods, wedges, and putter. I got my bag and immediately began grinding at the driving range and par-3 courses. This week, on monday, I went out and shot a 2 over par at my local course. I am absolutely hooked on this game and it is your fault. Thanks for everything!

Over a full 3-4 day tournament, sure. But in something like this that is 8 holes...even Fat Perez could make it to the final 4....any of these guys, plus or minus a couple from scratch, can shoot 1 or 2 under over 8 holes on any given outing...and if that's the case then any of these guys can win....which is what makes it fun as hell. Pretty much every golfer can shoot 15-20 shots different from day to day...those 15-20 shots overlap widely with all these guys...so over 1 round pretty much any of these guys can be beat by any of them.

I love the format of only 8 holes...it opens the door for pretty much any of the guys to make it to the final round...any of these guys can get hot enough through 8 holes to be 1 or 2 under...makes it much more exciting than if it was 18 or 36 holes, then you'd know the pro's(Wes, George, Kwon, Brad, Shaun, etc) are going through 99% of the time
