My university dorm room tour || 2022 UK Year 2 student

Hello everyone, welcome back/to my channel!
Even though I lived in the same accommodation last year, it is still a 'new' room and 'new' flat - that's why I wanted to document all of the changes I've made for second year. Also, I won't be living here for my third year, which is another reason why I wanted to show you my room in it's final stage.

the accommodation is called Stratford One and it’s a unite students building but tbh I no longer recommend it as the cost for what you receive is not worth it!

Tbh with you, I would not recommend this accommodation. The security and members of staff in reception don’t know how to communicate with students - they can be very rude and entitled. There are only two members of staff you can turn to when they’re on shift who actually get things sorted. Maintenance writes off any problems and rarely actually fixes them - you have to keep chasing up the same issues constantly. The wifi, the shower (in terms of temperature) and the drainage smell are all so inconsistent. They find any way to give you a fine without warning. Yeah it is a nice looking accommodation but it is not worth the money you spend for the experience of living there x
