You are so right. When I tell people that the officer (not immigration lawyer or agent) who was handling my mum's application actually called me, they don't believe it. The officer was so nice. She called to check up on me. Because there was a probability of giving birth to my twins early. She offered to approve my mum's visa immediately and push it forward for collection. I guess it hardly happens

My sister it’s God ooo. You’ll be surprised the first reason my mum in law’s visa was denied. Was really shocking and the second one too. I support people with applying for their relatives’ visa, but when you hear some reasons for refusal you’ll be so surprised and you can tell the officer either made a mistake or was being difficult for nothing…

The emotional pain can not be explained. I was looking forward to it as I was preparing to go back to work from Mat leave. My baby had to go to the Nursery around 9 months which was not part of the original plan.
