They are called Sustee Aquameter and come in 3 sizes to fit different pot depths (see info in listing to buy correct size). Apparently the core is replaceable, and lasts between 6-9 months. I've been using them for 3-4 months so I can't speak to the ease of replacement yet.
I definitely don't need them for all my plants, but for larger pots or plants that prefer soil moisture, it's incredibly helpful. Also if anyone has to care for your plants while you're away, it's an easy visual. #notsponsored

Thank you shining the light on these plants today. I have a FLF lyrata (dwarf version) and it has been doing ok. I messed up the watering a few times which turned her into a piece of Art 🤨 I bought 2 plants let them grow a bit then pot them together. I propagate one now I have 3 plants in a pot. I do not hate it neither love it. It has nothing to do with the plant. I have an aglaonema Maria. She is neither thriving nor dying. Pretty resilient plants put out 1 leaf when she wants to. Whatever float your boat girl🙂 I am hoping to crossed path with an Euphorbia ghost in the future. I like it for its weirdness. I noticed a plant on the shelve next to your young Fidle Leaf. Looks like a thriving variegated Peperomia. I have a couple of Pepe... they tend to drop healthy green leaves in the Fall. Last year was a nightmare I could hear the leaves falling every day leaving bare stems. This year is better they lost 1 or 2 leaves per plants. I am not sure what caused it. I have not modified my care the only change I have made this season Is adding a couple of regular LED bulbs to brighten the shelves. What was your experience with that specimen? Assuming the plant I saw was a Peperomia. Thank you

I hope you find your Ghost! 😊 Regarding that Peperomia Obtusifolia: I didn’t have the same issues you’re describing with leaf drop. I don’t have it anymore, but I find that fall weather impacts my watering quite a bit. Soil stays wet longer, so maybe it was overwatered? Hard to say 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thank you for watching!! 💚

I also own a white ghost and Black velvet. I love them to bits! Your Ficus Lyrata is breathtaking! My other favorites are my Alocasia zebrina, hoya obovata, peperomia hope, syngonium mojito, zz raven.

I have a Domino Peace Lily (as well as the Platinum Mist and Sweet Chico) and love them! I also have an Alocasia Black Velvet and so far it seems to be happy in my house and even gave me a new leaf! I think those are the only ones that are the same as yours, except for the Hoya collection - although you have way more than I do! I love cacti, aka pokey guys, lol. I wish I had a Euphorbia White Ghost!! They’re so cool looking!! But I did get a Mermaid Tail and it’s so awesome, that I’m satisfied for awhile now! Thank you for sharing! 💜💚🪴🌵

Really liked this video. The anthurium was very interesting and your success with the lyrata makes me want to try one myself. I always wanted one but was too afraid to try it because they have such a bad rep 😅

I think I lucked out with my Fiddle! I did kinda stalk her at the nursery for a few weeks, so I knew she was healthy and happy already. 🪴 I would recommend getting one from a nursery rather than big box, so it’s already acclimated and not recovering from inexperienced caretakers. Keep me posted! Sending you all the healthy fiddle vibes 😊💚

Regarding the alocasia....does it respond negatively to normal household humidity? Thanks in advance!

It has been fine for me! For reference, my household humidity has fluctuated between 30-60%. Lower than 30% would likely cause some crisping, from what I’ve read 🪴
