Mine is so similar. Unbrush or derman then revair. Your hair looks great.

Purchasing a Revair is on my list to purchase this year. I WISH I could use any brush with limited breakage. The boar brush I use is only on my edges.😊

I promise, you won't regret getting the revair. Have you tried the unbrush? People on instagram suggested it to me. Then I tested a bunch of brushes to see which one would work best on my hair and the unbrush won hands down. it was the safest and it really detangled my hair. the denman was a close second.

I just used the Revair for the first time a few weeks back and it’s definitely easier. I was hesitant to use the max suction setting bc in the product guide it said something like settings 1-3 are for no/low heat, but to prevent any strain that 4-7 should be done on high heat. I went with low heat, setting 3 and my only complaint is that my roots were still shrunken even after brushing it out and going over it with the Revair again. High suction may be the key then 🧐

If your hair was already dry when you went back over it, it wouldn't have stretched out. You would just have to wet it again. I hope you have a good experience going forward!

try high suction but with low heat. That's what i do and it works for me, even though i have really thick strands. Try it on one section of hair and see how it turns out. Also, if you need to increase the heat, make sure you use heat protectant.

The blow out came out well! Your hair looks soft and not stiff.

thank you so much!! When i used to use regular blow dryers, my hair would come out stiff most of the time. Since i started using the Revair, i've never had stiff results every single time i've used it.

So pretty! Do you ever need to use a protein treatment too?
@westafricanbaby18 күн бұрын
not really, but i'm looking into some hair strengthening treatments that i wanna incorporate into my routine this year, for thicker hair. I'll definitely share what I find.

Hi, how do you keep your hair soft? When i use the revair, it has a tendency to keave my hair feeling dry, rough and brittle. Evn though i use it right after washing my hair.
@abbe1abbe15619 күн бұрын
You need a heat protectant. Your hair is rough because th Revair is lifting your hair cuticles. It will weaken your hair if you don't use a heat protectant.

what products are you using to blow dry? if your hair isn't properly hydrated before using the revair, it can cause stiffness. I personally never have that stiff feeling because I deep condition and apply products prior to using the revair. Also, using a heat protectant helps. If you're gonna be using the revair on a high heat setting, you need to use heat protectant.

After using the revair you should immediately apply a small amount of leave-in and hair grease to your hair strands and do a few chunky twists. You can unravel your hair a day or two later with grapeseed oil (or any light oil) on your palms and your hair will be soft like butter, I promise!

Hi guys, thanks for the advice. Before I didn't use anything leave in or heat protectant with the recair because they said in their manuals not to use any products. Last year, I tried to use Shea butter after using it because my hair just felt, stiff and dry, but it's almost like the product was sitting on top of my hair and it felt heavy and weighted down. My last blow dry, I used a heat protectant and it was marginally better but my hair still felt stiff. I always shampoo, condition, and deep condition before using the revair and I use hydrating/moisturizing products. Right now I'm using the shea moisture Manuka honey & madura oil intensive hydration shampoo, conditioner and deep container. I'm thinking about adding a leave in and heat protection before using the revair. Hopefully that will solve the problem and not wreck the machine.

Clarify your hair with a clarifying shampoo. It sounds like you have build up from the shea butter in your products. Don't try to use ACV or clay. Just use a real clarifying shampoo twice, then your moisturizing shampoo, and proceed with your wash day.
