When I was 12, there was this one girl in my grade who sent a nude to an older high school guy. He passed it around with his friends. I have no idea what happened with it in the end, but I assume she and the guy got in some major trouble. I'd say that talk was rather well-timed. By the time we got that talk (it was the year after that), it was too late.

I was in a spelling bee, I got pretty far, but failed on the word knife. In the car on the way home, my dad kept asking me how to spell knife, and I kept repeating how I spelled it on stage, n-i-f-e. See the problem? I felt so stupid when someone else pointed out that it starts with k, like, it's a word I should've known.
