They literally walked around all movie then Kylo killed them even though they are supposed to be able to use the force too. I'm just happy this new trilogy is over. alot of the faults with it is how Different the vision between directors was for where the story should go. Rise would never fix all the problems TLJ created story wise, this is about as good as you can do to damage control the fire that was the script of TLJ (90% of the original draft was kept and the one JJ left for EP 8 was just thrown out the window). Seriously the 2 had 2 very different ideas and the focus on "Subversion" was awful. Not much you could do to make a good film, a good sequel, after that mess

The most enjoyable part of the movie for me was when Kylo/Ben pulled himself out of the pit that the Emperor threw him into. Unfortunately, the only reason this was entertaining was that someone sitting near me in the theatre suddenly dropped their soda and gasped "Jesus!" when Kylo's hand loudly grabbed hold of the ledge as a cheap jumpscare. Overall, the movie was so bad that I was confused, and wondered if they'd had an amateur horror movie writer direct all of the Emperor's scenes, because it looked like they'd used CGI to put him in most of the scenes, and I couldn't even enjoy his acting because of the constant strobe lights flashing throughout all of his scenes.
