Going through the digital coupons noticed an increase in coupons only valid on pickup and delivery this is ridiculous

@@edithcunnagin they want to drive up membership sales and revenue. They have been trying to get rid of cash sales since the early 2000's. Look up "Jafco" from the west coast in the 1970's; very much like IKEA and the Walmart electronics store that went bust. Plus less f,oor scrubbing, bathroom maintenance and supplies, folks in registers, folks stocking and keeping aisles nice, and less loss prevention.

The only coupons I'm interested in clicking on seem to be for pickup or delivery only. I'm in a rural area so they don't deliver, and if I'm going to drive all the way there I might as well go shopping myself and save the pickup fee!

Those Campbells chunky soups are good for pulling the top and eating right from the can in no power conditions or when you're sick. They make for a quick and easy packed lunch whether you have the opportunity to heat the soup up or not, supplement with fruit or veggies, or not.

In our area The Chef's Store is most easily found but they only cupcake physical cash or debit card; no checks nor credit cards.

I went to Kroger yesterday, and I only found a few deals for the things I needed. I bought a watermelon there a couple of weeks ago & within 3 days, it went bad on my counter. I gave it to my chickens and they wouldn't eat it. What's going on with the watermelons?

Went shopping at Fry’s (Kroger in Tucson) yesterday. Saved 20% on my total order by just shopping the sales and manager’s specials. Store had 80/20 ground beef for $2.97# in 3# packs…no limit, got 4pks. I stay out of the snacks and drinks sections. Am thankful it’s just my husband and me. I don’t know how families are doing it.

I didn't know you could can hot dogs, but why not? 😂 I should definitely do that soon along with some baked beans. I've been buying the white dry beans little by little. Also bought quite a few of the large cans of Bush baked beans when they were 1.99. The sale went for quite awhile, so I have at least 10 large cans. I have 2 different recipes to make them, not sure it would be the recipe to use to pressure can them.

I've found the ranch packets, generic Krogers brand, are really good. Add some mayo and milk/buttermilk. Makes 2 cups and lasts a while.

I have never understood the appeal of Skyline chili direct from restaurant or canned. It is so watery and tastes a bit burnt. The "meat" pieces are about 1/3 the size of a grain of rice= true!!! and even those pieces are barely included. I don't think it would be a good deal even if it was $1.00 a can. I know many love it lol

Hey Danno, I hardly ever see you telling about prices on canned meats. Canned chicken, roast beef, turkey, etc... please check them out and let us know about sales on those. Maybe from dollar tree, kroger, Sav a lot, maybe dollar general. I live in Tennessee and would love it if you could that for all of us who like to stock up on those things. I don;t know whether to laugh or cry over your Skyline Chili comments. I simply go up an down the aisles gleaning for bargains. Often, Kroger has instore specials We pay good attention to prices and sales,(and digital coupons), and TRY to watch at the register, but we take a few minutes, pulled over to the side, to check our receipt. It takes just a cou ple of minutes. We catch mistakes quite often and have the service desk make it right. If we don't catch it, or there is som other problem,I check it at home and will call Cincinnati. With a Kroger Plus card, they will give you a refund on y our next trip, and sometimes give you more back, (if you are a long-time customer.)

Have you noticed that Jif peanut butter has done more shrinkflation. It is now sold in 15.5 Oz jar. Also, next time you are in any store, SHAKE a can of HORMEL chili. That used to be my go-to chili. They now have added so much water and reduced the amount of meat and beans in the can that it's now a soup! Cans are smaller too. I'll never buy it again.

Great video on food prices! It's just insane! Every time I have to go grocery shopping, I wonder "how much more will it be this week??" I shop at Safeway (and Walmart) and signed up with Safeway's digital app and get further savings plus points towards fuel. Safeway is higher in prices than Walmart, but sometimes you can get some really, really good deals! You gotta stay on your toes, like the pricing you state on the shrimp! You think you're getting a great deal for 2 lb bag of shrimp for $6.99,....but, in the smaller print 'somewhere' on the sign, is $6.99 per pound. Then at the register (if most people even look at the price on the screen or even their receipt)...you'll see a price of $13.98 ring up. That's about what the shrimp on-sale price is at my Safeway (with the digital coupon). It's tough out there to get the absolutely best price and I've even taken to buying on Sam's Club online and having it free shipped to me (my closest Sam's is two hours drive). That there saves me a huge fuel cost! I can't get everything I want, but you do whatcha gotta do!

I only have Kroger delivery in my state. It's rare that I place more than one order a month, but I did this past week and between the 2 orders, I found some good deals. I found cantaloupe for 1.99, berries for really cheap, also non dairy Kite Hill cream cheese for $3.29 a container and Violife slices for $2.00 a container. More than half off original prices and decent expiration dates! At the end before checkout is where I found those deals and you can add them on to your order, up to 10. Even good deals on produce and meats. Kroger doesn't always have everything I need, but it sure comes close! 😂 It is possible to get ahead and get good deals, you just have to think ahead. For example, I have a ton of eggs in my fridge right now because I bought 5 cartons of eggs each time they had a Kroger deal. Even if you can only afford one or 2 extra, it still seems to pay off. Im freezing some in muffin tins, one egg each to at least have on hand for baking. You can even start baking for the holidays soon, cookies, desserts, pies all freeze well. I'm also going to use some of the unsalted butter Kroger had on sale earlier in the year to bake and freeze. A lot of recipes out there to make healthier treats. I also may end up using all my eggs and butter in scrambles and frittatas! And that's okay too! 🤣
