@dropdeadskateboard They are not hooked up at the same time. I do have two good quality SCART-splitters, but you don't SCART over there, so it's a bit trickier there. You just have to switch the cables when you want to play. But you can make it a bit easier on yourself by labeling the cables, so they are faster to recognise.

@blaizevincent I really thought about the layout for hours and hours, this was by far the most efficient result. The shelves in the middle are much bigger than the glass cabinets for one thing. I do regret the fact that there isn't enough light on the other side of the shelves, but it's a small price to pay for gettinge evrything here. I've really liked the room now that I've lived half a year here. :)

@GOLLY852 Depends on how you count. If you take into account everything that concerned the move from my old place, it me weeks. :) Packing and unpacking was quite a chore, but it was fun arranging everything.

There's always room. :) Actually there is a lot of room to squeeze the glass cabinets tighter and rearrange some things, I can fit a lot more games here even though these shelves seem to be full. :)
@lostSUND4Y15 жыл бұрын
Awesome dude. It's very impressive how you managed to fit everything into that small room and still made it look good. Is there a wall or room divider between the shelf with the PC games and the ones with the PS2 games? Or are the shelves just put back to back? Because it's a nice solution, that looks really good. Both when you enter the room, with the walkway and all, and like you said it makes the part with the TV more cozy. Shame 'bout the NAOMIs tho, they would have looked epic up there.
@finngamer14 жыл бұрын
@mardfet Each to their own, you know most collections are just for shelf purposes. But videogames are different in the fact that they can actually be used, and most of us do play. Yes, I do play my games. Not all of them (no-one would have the time), but rest assured, I've finished all the best . :)

They're back to back. There's also a small couch in the middle, I guess I didn't film it at any moment. Yeah, a room big enough for everything would be ideal, though I don't complain about having to put the Naomis in the living room. :)

shame about having to downsize but needs must. Just one thing wouldnt it have made more sense to have the glass cabinets in the middle of the room rather than the games shelves , just thinking it would make the room alot more light friendly and the room will feel alot bigger, woudl also recommend a mirror of some sort for the same reason.

Hmm, excellent gaming room for sure. Looks very cosy, defenitly a +. Tis a shame however, that you couldn't fit a computer into there, along with your newer consoles. Though, that retro feel is really inviting, and your organization is commendable! Thanks for the videos! 5 *

@MeteoTron I thought setting up my: PS1, GC, SMD II, Wii, NES (With Four Score), N64, Sky Box, xBox, TV, Surround Speakers, and 4 mini arcade joystick things into a poundland SCART block was difficult. What makes it worse is because of the current draw of my TV and speakers I can only have one console in at any one time so you have to go on an adventure through a black vinyl jungle in order to change systems. Also why does Mr finngamer have an NSTC SNES?
@anonymousabe14 жыл бұрын

The small room is perfect. However I would never survive without some form of upgraded sound. I hate TV sound. You should get a 2 channel PC speaker system and hook it to your TV. PC speaker systems actually sound really nice with retro consoles. Otherwise, the room is perfect and I would never come out.

when you were moving, weren't you not afraid you might lose any of your games during the move as that is a lot of stuff you have. Also were you not afraid your glass cabinets might get damaged too?
