Insane!! The leather of that first 2001 bag is so buttery! Why does that leather look softer than the later bags in your collection?

Great question. The 2001 bag is the silkiest leather I have ever felt. After that Balenciaga changed the leather. They tend to do that every year. I guess due to costs, and what they can source at a price they want to pay. So after these bags became super popular in 2005, the leathers went down in quality in my opinion because they had to make so many. Unfortunately they sacrificed beautiful leather for profit. 😢

I know you uploaded this just a few days ago, but would love to see a more detailed video with your balenciaga bags. Maybe telling a bit more about them, how you use them, how much fits maybe, if they're easy to use. And would like to see you zip them all up, so we can see how they look closed. Thank you so much! I went to the Balenciaga store yesterday and saw the new Le City bags in person, the leather feels like plastic. Does not feel like luxury at all. I am tempted to buy one to show a video comparison and then returning the bag...

Gorgeous collection and love the details with the keychains! 😍 How do you decide on selling or changing out your bags? And how frequently do you change bags since you have such a variety of options to choose from?

These are great questions! This can get a little crazy for some but sometimes if I love the color but the leather isn’t great on that particular bag, I will try and find another one in the same color but with better leather. I can be a little bit of a leather snob. So once I have two of the same color bag I will decide which one I prefer and sell one. Or if the color isn’t one that I reach for quite as often I will sell it. Or maybe I just tire of that color and I’ll decide to let it go. It’s very strange because even though it can be the same color, each bag can look very different and feel different depending on the leather. I do change out my bags quite often. Almost daily. I try to have them rotated.

Balenciaga will never remake the same/exact shade/hue of color ever again. Black leather bags are made every season but the specific black will never be made again.
