You have the most complete Chanel vintage collection! You have kept them in such great condition too. Do you happen to have a Vintage Chanel handbag care booklet? In there, have you noticed, it states, the hardwares are coated with an alloy containing 24k gold? That rich gold alloy coating just can’t be found in today’s Chanel bags anymore.

Thanks! Yes that shiny yellow gold hardware is precious, and the small indents/stamps on the CC turnlocks are the best indicators of the 24k

Yes, the ones made in Italy don’t have that little stamp (gold indicator) on the CC logo, have you noticed? Same quality hardware though. It’s interesting to know you’re purchasing from Taiwan too. I live in America now but was from Taiwan. Are there many Chanel vintage stores in Taiwan? Did you purchase from Taiwanese online stores or you traveled there to acquire them? Do you purchase from Japan? I have good experiences dealing with eBay Japanese stores. You can compare prices, maybe the Japanese offer good values too since they are the ‘headquarter ‘ of vintage Chanel vintage bags. I can recommend the Japanese stores I have used and have good experiences with, if you’re interested. 😊 Chanel doesn’t make alligator/crocodile skin bags anymore. Have you thought about getting one for your collection? Their crocodile skin bags are not as pretty as alligator skin bags though. I’m so excited for finding your channel. Sorry for all these questions. 😊

Hi!, I have the same half moon bag as your gold/beige one shown at 5 min 32 sec. It's so hard to find any information about this model of bag. My strap length is quite short, its only about 38 cm (15 inches) when worn as a longer shoulder bag (and even then its not a long shoulder bag compared to newer bags). It's possible the chain length of my bag has been altered, may I please compare this to your bag's chain length?

Hi my strap is abt 31" at its longest, strap drop abt 15". So pretty much the same as yours. I am petite so the strap length is perfect for me :)
