Coated side should touch the back of the comic book. They also make magazine sized bags and boards for things like the Empire Strikes Back and Star Lord. Those Marvel Tales are reprints of earlier Amazing Spider-Man issues. You’ve got some cool books here. When getting the books into the bag, I tend to slide the board about a quarter of the way to half way down the sleeve, then slot the book in on top and slide both the board and book down together. It helps with some of the tighter fitting ones and if there are any tears/chipping on the cover.

Comics today are unlikely to ever appraise as much as comics from 70-100 years ago. There’s a lot more of them being kept as collectibles which is just supply and demand. Maybe our great-great grandchildren can cash in on our comics. If you have any unopened Nintendo games then you might want to get it appraised!
