Time to share with you my Vintage Rolex watch collection! For the last 6 years I have been acquiring these pieces one at a time. Now I feel that I finally have enough to share with you the progress that I have made.
This collection mostly consists of Rolex sports models that include GMT's, Submariners, and SeaDwellers. This collection truly brings me joy and I something that I feel is an accomplishment and that I am very proud of.

Exactly... Even though I'm not a big fan of Eric's style of collecting (20 watches from one line up, from different periods) BUT we share the passion for watches and not for money and so I can respect this collection!

Love the video and showing how great vintage is. The new collectors don't know what their missing out on these vintage pieces. Buying a modern sport at retail is all about making instant money and those types of collectors aren't true watch enthusiasts.

Agree, you have to love your collection, having the collection appreciate is a plus but not necessarily the goal. I have personally never sold any of my collections, I give watches to friends a lot, it is my way of promoting the art of watch collecting.

You know, when I first started watching your vids I was put off - I saw you as a Miami flexer, and I consider watch dealer/flexers as a scourge on the watch hobby. However, your more recent content (or maybe I'm just seeing the real man/true watch lover behind the glasses). Whatever, I really liked this video. It gave me faith that maybe not all watch dealers are greedy A-holes. Thank you for sharing this collection with your personal stories. It encouraged me not to just walk away from what used to be a hobby and has become little more than an investment la la land. Look forward to your future content.

I bought my first rolex 16750 back in 2016 for under retail....with all the hype today my buddies all say "why don't you sell it"......They don't get it, i didn't buy the watch to flip, i bought the watch because I love it. It has nothing to do with the price and everything to do with the story. The watch becomes a mechanical part of you that lives forever. Something that really isn't available in todays throwaway society. Great collection Eric, thanks for sharing. I hope to add a matte dial sub or GMT one day as well

Yep couldn't agree more Eric. My thing is 1960s pieces because that was when I was a kid, and it needs to be loud ones - Heuer, Speedy, Sub, GMT, Seamaster300. And when I wear these, the childhood memories and nostalgia rushes are strong and powerful. Impossible with a 2023 piece. Modern ones are for actual swimming etc.

Erick, I just found last week and bough my birth Year 1675. Its a 1967 like yours, It was not easy at all find this with originals box and papers ;-) Awesome piece. I really like yourr as well with that Strap and that inmaculate dial.
