One artist that you should check out if you haven’t yet is MARINA. Her sound has had a really interesting transition from her first album to the last. Her albums had started with more electronic pop and strong/rifting vocals to slowly adding some gorgeous orchestral type songs that honestly made me cry. She talks about lots of issues in our society, and the lies that fame tries to sell us. It is honestly just pure emotion in her voice and it is amazing every second of it. My fave albums of hers are Froot and Electria Heart. Btw if you want to listen to her works with her first album The Family Jewels listen to the deluxe since in the release of the album in the US they removed the last few tracks including the original ending tract Family Jewels.

IF you want to get into some rock bands i suggest listening to the AFI Bodies album and kinda making your way back bc it's more pop rock than punk rock but their best albums are December underground, the art of Drowning and sing the sorrow if you wanna give them a listen they are my favorite band lol
