Re the card board insert, this is brown, highly acidic paper pulp. Try to go to an art supply store and get some archival mat board for picture framing. Either as thinner 2 ply, or as thicker = sturdier 4 ply. Sometimes, you can also get discarded mat board from art museums or galleries. I got a whole pile they were going to throw in the recycling = free.

omg i'm obsessed with your Ariana collection!! my goal in life is to have all her vinyls in my collection so I totally feel overpaying for some. I hope you're able to get yours truly soon, the anniversary pressing is honestly so pretty its totally worth getting if you can/want to! the swirl isn't too bad either but I do prefer the anniversary version. it just has so much more pizzaz. also I'm so jealous of your feather vinyl, I wanted it so bad but it sold out before I could get it. hopefully it'll be mine eventually 🙏

You should turn the inner sleeve to the right or left, instead of leaving the opening upwards, to keep from dust getting inside. It does manage to get in there

I searched up record vinyl collection vids because I love to see what other people have, and yours is so fun! I officially started collecting vinyl 3 years ago and have a little over 40, but my mom has a chest full of old ones from when she was younger including the sound of music, the Beatles and the grease soundtrack. Those are what made we want to get my own player and start collecting, and I am so happy I did.

For records with more than one disk, do you put them all behind the jacket? I wanted to get sleeves but most records I have come with 1-4 disks. I just didn’t know if it was ace for the records themselves

if it’s a gatefold i’ll usually put a disc in between the gatefold, if it has more than 2 discs then they all go behind the jacket!

thanks for subscribing! for a while i didn’t have any speakers for the LP60X and you can barely hear the music, but if you get the bluetooth turntable (LP60XBT) you can connect it to a portable/bluetooth speaker!
