Ordered an a3500 Vitamix and its on the way !!! The last time I bought a Vitamix was 15 years ago. Sadly my favorite and trusted kitchen appliance finally had enough and expired in a dramatic plume of smoke. We used that blender AT LEAST 3 times a week for 15 years and quite often more. There was never even a question about whether we would be buying a new Vitamix. Imagine my surprise when I started to explore what was new that Vitamix had to offer. I HAD NO IDEA !!! My wife and I got very excited and ordered every accessory we could find ... including that Perfect Blend Scale that we saw in one of your other videos from Amazon. This brings me to today. While we are waiting for our new best friend to arrive I has been trying to catch up. This is going to be a bit of a learning curve. The problem is that our old blender worked so good for so long that it feels like we just stepped into a JETSON'S cartoon episode !!! 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for being here to help us into the future !!! We are looking forward to going through all of your library and seeing what we've been missing out on. The more I see the more blown away I am. Who woulda thunk that my blender and scale would be able to talk to each other and need an app ... You'd think Elon Musk took over the company !!! LMFAO Looing forward to this new Vitamix community !!! SUBSCRIBED !!!

What a beautiful collection!!! I thought Henry had collaborated with Vitamix to release Blending with Henry straws. ehem #Vitamix, the BwH straw set could have a tropical color theme to match his tropical smoothie blends. 😆😆😆 Congratulations on making it into the recipe book. Well deserved.

So much good info in this video like using the salad spinner for the potato shreds. It's great that vitamix thought things through and included the skinny brush for the straws. Not sure where I read this, but someone recently said they JUST found out the silicone head on their wooden spatula comes off for cleaning and they had been using it for years! The junk that was trapped in it! ugh! I thought about that when you separated the silicone straw tip. Ok, back to happy thoughts.

I truly appreciate your awesome feedback. Thank you so much!! Yes I like to include non-Vitamix products in my videos (Salad Spinner) to show how they work well as an assistant to your Vitamix as well as showing how a Vitamix is a great assistant to your cookware when making different types of recipes.

Not for a small apartment to get the whole family of Vitamix now. I only have the E310 & it's attachments cups for now. I owned one before & had gone through many other brands of blenders & food processors, Vitamix over performed all of them!

Chef Cynthia Louise uses the dry grains container for making nut butters. Have you ever tried that?
@BlendingWithHenry
@BlendingWithHenry 3 жыл бұрын
That's the wrong container to use. It works in the reverse direction requiring more work and it's not easily extracting the natural oils.

In Germany they just sell the 64, 20 and 8 oz containers :( no aer , dry , stainless steal containers, no scale, no food processor and they charge 899€ for the a3500 you can’t even import the other containers because they wont work with a machine bought here -.-

@BlendingWithHenry

Hi Madelyn! It's best to buy the optional Dry Grains Container. The include Wet container is best used for wet ingredients. The Dry container is for milling grains and spices. The blades are different in each container for their specific purpose.

Can you please make a video on how the A3500 preforms on the lowest settings #1? I would like to see if the A3500 has a tornado like the 5200 or not. when putting it on #1, does it sucks the lipid down or splashes it all over? That's my question. I have been searching for a video like that , but I can't find one. It seems that every one is testing it on the highest settings.

Henry.. do you recommend the dry blade container? Is the flour fine enough?. Thanks
@BlendingWithHenry
@BlendingWithHenry 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rosalia! If you're an avid baker then yes I would recommend it. The Dry Container won't mill the flour fine like store-bought however but it will do a better job than using the included wet container.

I am yet to see anyone make a nice cream using the Vitamix food processor attachment. That is the only thing making me hesitate. I need to know it can make perfect nice creams. I don't like using my normal vitamin to make nice cream because of the need to scrape around the blades to get the food out.

How do you make a chucky pb or applesauce
@BlendingWithHenry
@BlendingWithHenry 2 жыл бұрын
For the PB I usually create the PB first, then while still inside the Vitamix I add the amount of whole peanuts I want and run the Vitamix on a much lower speed just enough to chop up the nuts and mix them in. Applesauce breaks down too easily in a blender. It's perhaps better to do that in a food processor if you want it chunky.
