It's a bit sad that not enough people vote for silk because this year there were genuinely a lot of songs that were really good, maybe even as good as/ better than nigel goods songs. btw this is coming from someone who used to automatically skip silk songs, but i gave them a try and they blew me away. maybe you could also have the same opinion if you try em out :)

Don't get me wrong, this was a great year Monstercat, but most of my favorites were off Monstercat so I wound up forgetting most of my favs from them this year. I think as surprising as this is going to sound, give in to you is going to be the VR album the scores the highest. I didn’t vote for it personally, but it was the song that got the VR album cycle started, so that holds a lot of credence Additionally, I think this is the year of albums getting multiple (possibly up to 3) songs on, at least in the Uncaged side

Other than Pyroclastic, Jason Ross' hardstyle song is the only other spotlight song this year on Monstercat. It's an amazing ode to the subgenre and I wish he would do more in the future. Also giving No Tomorrow my +8 Q-dance points.
