Love the Dane’s, me and my dog Loki relieved them in Helmand 2006 they had one hell of a fight beforehand they took there heavies with them it was devistating as we only had a quad and a snatch Land Rover they was leaving with APCS and Humvees they were better equipped than the British army in 06

Alexander Rot Danish and Icelandic are the 2 language that comes closest to Old Norse Ex. Thors Hammer, in modern danish "Mjølner" and in Old Norse it would be "Mjölnir"

Word wise danish is not at all similar to german, even though i believe it's all from old germanic language. But we pronounce the letters pretty similar to germans, which is also the reason we sound very differrent from our other nordic brothers. Danish word for word is kinda similar to other nordic langauges though, that also means we almost understand each others (if not too drunk).

Sneezy They use them to review what had happened on the former patrol. So when they are at the base, they can watch it back to see if the soldiers reacted right or wrong in certain situations.
