Afgelopen april stonden de The Tribute: Battle of the Bands-finalisten maar liefst drie keer in een uitverkochte Ziggo Dome. Met winnaar Bouke & The ElvisMatters Band, U2two en Starman - The Dutch David Bowie Tribute.
Drie keer de Ziggo Dome uitverkopen kunnen alleen de populairste artiesten zeggen. Kun je nagaan hoe het gesteld is met de finalisten van het vorige seizoen van The Tribute: Battle of the Bands. Afgelopen april stonden de tributebands rondom David Bowie, Earth Wind & Fire, U2 en Elvis in de Amsterdamse poptempel.
Bouke Scholten
Anders dan zijn medefinalisten gaf grote winnaar Bouke 'The King-reïncarnatie' Scholten met zijn ElvisMatters Band een show van ruim een uur. En daar houdt het niet op: hun theatertoer met zestig shows is uitverkocht en in 2024 doen ze de Ziggo Dome nog eens twee keer aan.
The Tribute: Battle of the Bands
Presentator Gerard Ekdom heeft intussen een derde seizoen van The Tribute: Battle of the Bands bevestigd, plus een bijbehorend Ziggo Dome-concert. Als het er geen drie worden.

Just saw this. NICE. Great presentation without the hectic atmosphere of the first concert after the Tribute Concert. Nice to see BOUKE on the wall signs. So much has happened since that first Tribute concert. Looking forward to the concerts, guest appearances, The Tribute Program that I see parts being filmed. Also looking forward to the tour of Elvis Country in the US. Hope all is translated into English so more of us can really enjoy!
