That is not a dieffenbachia camilla, I have several dieffenbachias including the camilla. The other commenters were correct in saying it is a Chinese evergreen.

Let's just take a moment to appreciate the effort Marcus put into filming this aesthetically for Kristin. All his little pull backs, smooth movements, closeups etc. were so sweet & thoughtful towards how she wanted to present her plants (especially when I can imagine he wanted to be super goofy & mess around a bit 😂)

The satin leaf philodendron that you called it is actually a scindaptus pictus or more commonly known as a satin pothos. Super cute collection though! I love your energy. It’s so sweet

You should get an Aloe plant, they are super easy and are great for burns 💕☺️

85michellemybelle make sure you have a hole at the bottom of your soil pot so the water can filter through! Not sure if you already know but some people don’t! :)

Lacey Elizabeth thank you! I do have a hole and I have recently purchased cactus/fast draining soil so I’m hoping that will help! I have heard most chain stores over water and it’s important to re-pot the plants soon after purchase to help with root rot. I’ll take all tips and tricks as I have a new love for plants and propagating! I currently have kept alive 12 plants for several months (a jade plant for two years), so fingers crossed!

Your home is so beautiful, Kristin. And what a beautiful couple. God Bless you two. And I love how you treat your plants like children. I tried some gardening last summer but all my plants died in a week sadly. Not sure why but once I move out I plan on doing much better. You've made me want to have some plants. But it must be a lot of work watering and taking care of them- we didnt get to see that but I'm sure it wasnt easy. Great job to you!

I started cry laughing when you said that Pileas was easy to take care of hahah! I live in Sweden and everyone wants them here but they are sooo hard to keep alive during the cold half of the year, last year I lost my huuge Pilea plant to the cold but this winter i managed to get his two babies to survive! I'm so excited to watch them thrive this summer

Propagated Ivy and pothos can actually thrive in water, as well as a few other houseplants like the wandering Jew & Purple Heart & Spider plant! The fiddle leaf can also root in water and remain for about 6 months.. Doesn’t get any easier than popping a plant in a jar of water and letting it do its thing! Awesome collection & beautiful home btw!

Yay another plant video! I think the cactus in your kitchen looks etiolated because it might need more sunlight. I currently have a funny looking cactus for that reason :)The plant above the bathtub is commonly called a satin pothos aka a scindapsus pictus! You have beautiful plants and a beautiful home!
