could you add a suggestions button somewhere so we can give you ideas for the website. I already have a few here: Add the feature to schedule rooms and view past rooms, so basically rooms would be recorded and the owner of the room would have the option to save it, private it or delete it after its original live broadcasting. It would take alot of cloud space but would ultimately be better in the long run... Also this one would be a cool fun feature but maybe have a leveling system where you get a specific title after receiving a certain amount of points, for example: points would be gained through room viewership, followers and i guess rooms likes(if that ever becomes a thing) and with these points you get a small title under your profile or username that says something like: Doge, Dogeminer, Super Doge, Novice Doge. and you could select which title you would want to use. Here is what i think the specifics should be: 1 repeat view ( this only happens when the same user views a room only a second time) = 1 dogecoin 1 unique view ( first time a room is viewed by a user) = 2 dogecoin 1 like ( if ever added) = 5 dogecoin 1 follower = 20 dogecoin Examples of titles: Requirements ||| Title New user - Newborn Doge 100 dogecoins - Novice Doge 1000 dogecoins - Dogekid 2000 dogecoins - Apprentice Doge 5000 dogecoins - Dodgy Doge 10000 dogecoins - Intermidiate Doge 20000 dogecoins - Yas i am da doggy 50000 dogecoins - Full-Fledged Doge 100k dogecoins - Much Wow 500k dogecoins - Duke of the Moon 1 mil dogecoins - Royal Shiba 10 mil dogecoins - Sir Dogegington 1st (or Madam Dogegington 1st)

Love the audio idea, especially if the UI could include a mood or activity parameter. That could open up the use of that platform waaay beyond one specific entertainment function, although it's definitely a feature that can be added to the learning platform later on. Thomas Forbes' comment about using the media interface buttons for liking and skipping etc could work really well for more instant adjustments.

For the dropdown overlap issue, for z-index to work, you need a position attribute on the element. Adding `position: inherit` or `position: relative` might fix the issue without the need for a fanciful solution.

This could be so huge. Like a semi-live podcast type app where I can pop in some headphones and do random tasks while listening to people talk. And a Tiktok Algorithmic feed really changes the game, makes it more addicitive.
@jadsdoeslights3 жыл бұрын
If you do algorithmic recommendations, how will you classify stuff? You could go with tags, but nobody likes them and it'd just become a fight against the algorithm to see who can come up with the best tags. An alternative could be speech-to-text & keyword detection, but that'd be very intense for your cloud instances
@MaxPrehl3 жыл бұрын
Probably just classify users into groups based on similar subscriptions, then recommend similar users' subs to those who aren't subbed yet.
@KevinVandyTech3 жыл бұрын
Bet you were just missing "position: relative" for that z-index issue. Z-index only works when you manually specify position on all related elements.
@boomer50153 жыл бұрын
That z-index issue is a positioning issue from memory. U can never beat the stack unless the positioning at the root target elements is right. Although I don't know if sticky beats relative. Static loses even if node is after ( I think). Absolute drop downs need the ultimate parent to be relative.

Also, skinny screens with a mouse vs being usable on a touchscreen tablet. The users you care about the most are going to be using high-resolution 4k/5k displays. If you want investors it has to look good at those resolutions as well. The left column has a lot of empty space for new users...maybe add a prompt for like how to add people. Most places I click do nothing. Looks good does not feel good.
