Love hearing that you were unsure about your dress right after you bought it. I was obsessed with my dress when I bought it but the last 4 months while waiting for it to come in, I have been so nervous. Oh my gosh the whole rain issue was literally the exact situation that happened to me! I had to make the call to keep my ceremony outside and praise the Lord He rolled the clouds back and it was absolutely beautiful during the ceremony and once everyone moved inside to the reception area is when it started raining again. God is so good and answered my prayer that day. 🙌🏼💕 Also, your wedding was just so beautiful I am glad that you both kept it centered around Christ especially since He is the one that created marriage! ❤️

October 2022 bride here! This was super helpful! My dress came in this week, and I went to try it on today and pay the balance! Putting it back on today since ordering it months ago made me feel SO much better about it and I know it'll only get better with alterations! Also where is your Apple Watch band from?? I can't find a leather band that fits my small wrist, and yours looks great! :)

Your wedding was so pretty, I almost had an outdoor wedding but ours was in the fall so I decided to have it inside, our wedding ceremony was in our local theater and then we had an indoor wedding reception at a place right down the street, we got legally married through the courts in 2019 and then just saved for the wedding and reception for 2021 so our ceremony was relatively short because it was more of a vow renewal

I understand your worry about rain. I am sooooo paranoid about rain I told my husband no way I wanted to do anything outdoors for our wedding and he lives in India and his town barely ever rains during the month we picked but still I was paranoid I made sure the hotel and venue had car ports and paid extra to get the hall with the huge covering out front of the door and narrowed down the church would be the only place I'd have to walk from the car to inside with no car port. Luckily, it was sunny as usual but I felt way less stressed leading up to the wedding knowing the ceremony was in the church and the reception was in our wedding hall just in case any bad weather came suddenly haha. I am so glad the rain stopped on your day!!!

Why don't you box it up and save it for your daughter or another family member to wear when they grow up if they want to? That is what I have done with mine it was my dream dress prettiest dress I ever saw so I hope if I have a daughter maybe she will like it or maybe my niece would like it or at least I want to wear it again at like my 40th wedding anniversary or something.
