You look great and you’re part of the reason I decided to go full speed ahead with my journey. I have a similar story and was my heaviest (192lbs) just 3 months ago when I decided I couldn’t gain another pound. I felt bad and was sad all the time. I started counting calories and not depriving myself of food but cutting out things that I thought wouldn’t help me reach my goal and I’m now 170lbs. I still have a ways to go but it’s a step in the right direction, for sure. Thanks for sharing your story. You never know just how many people could use that extra push! ❤️

Girl, I NEVER comment, have loved your content for awhile, but now I REALLY will show love and support for you. First off, 3 1/2 years of breastfeeding is a HUGE accomplishment👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 My son is 2, breastfed for 16 months and those were by far the most exhausting, selfless but rewarding months of my life. I also appreciate your honestly about how breastfeeding does not make you lose weight, I was the same, never been so hungry & tired in my life, but you hear so many people say it helps them lose weight. I'm 5'8" at 160 right now after 2 kids (3 and 1 year old right now). From the outside looking in, one would probably say I look good, but I am in desperate need of toning up. Chicken arms and cottage cheese thighs are trying to push through, so thank you so much for sharing your journey with us in such detail--I am writing in my planner right now to walk daily, to train with Heather Robertson minimum twice a week, etc. . . . thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!

I nursed my son for 27 months, lost 20 and gained it all back plus a few extra pounds. Weaned him this past April and worked out the entire time while nursing but my weight didn't start to fall off until I weaned him. I love Heather Robinson too, thanks to you. Her workouts are so smooth that the work doesn't seem hard but I be dripping sweat. 😓

Yeah that whole breasting makes lose weight is some Bull$%7t lol! First few months I was like ok "snap back" then it all went down hill from there. So glad I'm able to look back on at time and keep myself motivated.

My baby just turned 3 and I’m still trying to lose the weight, I too exclusively breastfed so my weight stuck on me until I weened. I’m now 40-50 pounds down and would like to lose another 10. I feel amazing! You look great shanna! You inspire me to keep myself together and look my best always💕

I’m an emotional eater my self and have gained 9 lbs since August (180lbs). Prior to that I had been working out and eating healthy. I lost one of of older brothers and have just been eating. I just made it a point the other day to get back eating healthy and since the gyms are all closed here in Cali I’ve been walking for 30 minutes after work. I’m determined to get this weight off of me lol you look amazing!!

I have to tell you I have gone back and started watching some of your other videos. You sound just like me. I weigh myself every morning. It helps to set your mind for the day. I do need to start exercising I have not done that but I have lost 23 lbs and it has taken me about a year and half to do that and I am ok with that. No method to my madness just watch what I eat, enjoy some foods I love now and then and keep going. Love your down to earth attitude it is refreshing!

Great video! I got a treadmill at home and I love it - major game changer in getting one hour of cardio 6 days a week. I weigh myself every morning to keep on track too. It helps with what I’m doing on this journey. 🙏🏽

You look AMAZING! I never would have guessed you were once 180 lbs! I also am short 5’1 and I was once 154 lbs! I began to get depressed about my appearance As that was the largest I had ever been in life. I have an athletic build but I am such a foodie and I just let myself go. I then hired a trainer for about 6 months (last august - feb) and got down to 130 pounds. I looked and felt the best I ever had in over 10 years! I am currently 140 pounds and not as active as I was with my trainer and I need to loose these 10 pounds!!! But yes hunni its nothing like looking and feeling good! I literally told myself that I had never felt soooo good IN MY LIFE! It was almost euphoric! But I had to stop training because it was super expensive. Im so happy for you and your health journey. You inspire me to want to get back on track and really stick with my fitness journey. Thanks for sharing.

I am 5'2 too. And I agree, 135-140 is a sweet spot look wise. Although I am more top heavy so I could go smaller easily without looking to much like a kid (which is easy to do when you are so short).

Good Morning Shanna, this was so enlightening. When u showed your weight on the screen, I felted that. I recently had a dr’s visit and was so disappointed my weight is the heaviest I’ve ever been, like u I’m only 5 1. It literally feels like I’m carrying around another person on my back. No energy, sluggish, and tired all the time. I get all that you were saying. Sugar is my downfall. I have begun to change my unhealthy eating habits and exercising on my treadmill also. I know I have to transform my mindset and it’s hard , but so worth it. Girrrrl, you have done sooo good. I started following you after the weight loss so I didn’t know you struggled with your weight. That takes pure determination. I told you that we are kindred spirits. I began my journey at 34 (43 currently) due to comments from people and pics of myself. I started at 142lbs and very flabby. My lowest was 132 in 2017 with lots of cardio and weight training. I am currently 140 at 5’4 but very toned. I loved the 132 but these 43 year old knees wouldn’t let me be great. It’s been a lifestyle and I am loving my new curvy but toned body. Got a lil mo booty too out of the extra weight🤣. Great job ma!!! You look great!!!

Great video! We're the same height and like you, i try to maintain my weight 140- 135. I was hesitant when my doctor said your consider overweight for your height(156) at the time. I know how to get the weight off/ how to gain. You look good! I'll go crazy if i weigh myself everyday. Lol

I am So proud of u I wanna lose weight myself. I am 180 now n it’s not bad but my face is fat n I have a belly and I HATEEEE IT. SO MUCH. ... I just wanna eat better i just kinda don’t know what kinda food to eat. The right foods that’s where I struggle with 😩
