Keep going, Stu. Some weeks you'll be slightly heavier, while others you'll be lighter and sometimes you'll stay the same and that's totally natural. With bowel movements and water retention, weight will fluctuate, so it's nothing to feel discouraged over. For me, I managed to drop down to 85kg after a couple of weeks where I stayed the same, weighing out my Greek yoghurt, granola, blueberries and honey for breakfast and my rice for lunch and dinner. Buying a food scale was the best decision I made recently, I'll tell you.

Yeah you're right, everyones weight fluctuates from day to day. The weight loss plan that I follow also advices that I should be weighing out certain foods. I love stew season! I've had chicken stew & beef stew this week - done in the slow cooker without adding fat. Keep at it - you can reach those goals! I've made healthy choices this week aside from tonight when I unfortunately fell into Greggs after a long day at work. Onwards and upwards tomorrow.

Hi Emsie; yeah I really enjoyed my beef stew, it made a welcome change from my normal salads. Don't worry about the visit to Greggs, that's just one meal/snack out of many throughout the week. You've just got to put that behind you focus on what you can do going forward. You're right onwards and upwards or down the scales. Stu you will do it - weight loss as we know is not straight forward and unfortunately you are going to have small set back - i have also put 2 pounds on this week as well as i think due to not being as active over the last few weeks and also have been eating chocolate through the week which i had managed to cut out for awhile. However i am going to also get back on it and reset my goal to try and gain some motivation. Keep the faith stu - looking forward to seeing that 4 pound loss next week

Hi David, yeah it was disappointing to see a weight gain at the end of this week. But it sounds like we were in the same boat the last week if we saw the same result. So you succumb to the temptations of chocolate, that's easy done. Even more so at this time of year, but stay strong and we both will be able to lose the recent weight gain we've just seen. Hang in there Stu, have you thought of dropping you calorie intake to 2000? Just a thought. I’m going to try portion control. Literally weigh and measure my portions. Something has to kick my weight loss back into gear. This the season for bad choices. Between Halloween candy and all the baked treats it’s going to be a battle for real. Hi Robin, dropping my calories down to 2,000 is the lowest I would be willing to go, but I consider that to be a last resort. Yeah weigh and measuring certain foods is a good idea and is something that advised on the weight loss that I follow. You're right we're fast approaching the season of bad food choices. That's unlucky Stu, Normally when you're around the 2500 calorie mark, you see a maintain result, so to put on 2 pounds was a surprise. Better luck moving forward, it would be great if you could break the 400 barrier by Christmas
