Bill just might have a pet fish in his home that slightly resembles our lovely aquatic crafter master. xoxo

Fore real, go follow Gameyy. Not only are his builds absolutely top notch, his pre-planning drawings are gorgeous, his editing and sound work is immaculate, and perhaps somehow above all that, his writing and narrations are some of the most compelling pieces of his work. His current sub count is a crime. Go help fix it. In other news, great work once again, Boylei! This series remains my favorite of yours. Being able to play a TTRPG with a set this varied and detailed must feel like being a kid in a candy story.

If you ever want to add something small that connects this one to others, you could have a hopper full of sawdust and someone shoveling it into a compressor to make logs for burning in cast iron stoves. What I've started to use for flocking is ground-up tea leaves. I saved up used tea bags and let them dry, then I use a shiv to short out the finer bits from the more significant leafy bits (which I save to use as a "Denser" flock), then I put the finer tea leaves in a coffee grinder and set it on espresso grind and grind it down. It gives a good cover on a glued surfaces, and since I drink tea a lot, I always have a great supply!

As for how they rolled the logs onto the mill, they used log peavy's to roll them onto the log carriage, but for being a mechanized mill, you got it! I've made a log peavy with the old man and they are not easy to use or make. Haha. My blacksmithing skills are limited. It did work though.

Cool build! My guess is that the tanks hold water. It could either be a cooling system for the forestall (maybe it's an older model that tends to overheat) or a cooling system for some other mechanical part of the mill. The water could also be a dust suppressor or an emergency fire suppression system. I love that you leave little details in your builds and let our imaginations fill in the gaps of what they might be

this is a nearly nice addition to the town. id love to see a group of prospectors riding into town in a wagon where the miners have found a gigantic gold nugget 10x the scale of the miners, but as they're riding in they get attacked by a mythical creature that loves gold. the miners shoot up a distress flare. while this is going down a mech watch tower platform at the edge of the town with guards on it shoot at the creature, defending the miners from the greedy gold loving creature. Edit* or a giant gem or something that belonged to the creature that its trying to get back.

A great, blue-collar addition to the town. If you need a rationale, the tanks are a reserve water supply for the mill's boiler. They were put in and linked to the water system as the town grew and the mill owner was too cheap to put in his own well. Love the knock-knock joke, but yeah; too soon.

In that regard, it could be interesting to see some sort of gun/ammunition store to show where people get both the smaller rifles and handguns as well as the larger gatling and machine guns. It could also be a place to get normal tools as well, or maybe even some dynamite.

I was in the Adobe Western Art Gallery in Fort Worth, TX, last week and came a cross a number of paintings by Val Mayerik that reminded me of the Imaginary Wild West. They all involved cowboys and dinosaurs. Among the were bulldogging small dinos, and dinosaur drive (to market?) and a cowboy being chased by a T-Rex. Unfortunately, I can't find any example on the internet so can't send you a url. Fun stuff.
