Welcome to the world of ambulatory wheelchair users 🤪 I think a lot of us don't realize that not all wheelchair users are paralyzed and some of us can walk short distances but need it for longer distances to avoid pain or fatigue.

@@VeronicaAndBradMorris Oh, is it for longer distances? Ig people always assume the worst like waste down paralyzation or something like that.

@@Lantastik It seems to me that most wheelchair users I meet can walk at least a few steps. For me personally, I can walk about 10-15 minutes at a time, and to keep as much mobility as I can, I make sure to meet that amount every day. I need my wheelchair when going to stores, museums, or other outings where I will be standing or walking for more than 15 minutes, but not for getting around my house or going to doctor appointments where parking is close to the entrance.
