I cannot help but marvel with the changes in wheelchair design and even the materials used now, compared to if you look at the chair from earlier in the 20th century. I wonder if the chair manufacturers actually have users on staff to help in design, or is it feedback from clients/ users.

Looks a lot like my chair. I have a Ki Rogue, and it's the first chair I've had without a high back (or even handlebars), and I love it so much.

I have a Top End Terminator. I like it for inside, but not for outside, because I can feel every brick and it doesn't take much for the castors to get stuck.

I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this. I am searching everywhere to find all the info I can about getting the best custom wheelchair. I'm going to get a custom wheelchair for the first time later this month. I've been using a standard drive wheelchair for about 6 years now and I am beyond ready for one that is made for me. I'm only 4 ft 11 and around 115 to 120 pounds so I'm trying to figure out what will work best for my size and for my disability. So anytime I see a video shared talking about the best wheelchair I get super happy! What is something you wish you knew the first time you picked out a wheelchair? Or what is something you think everyone should know the first time they buy a wheelchair? Thank you again!

Question, how you keep your wheels clean? I live in the country but when ever I go to the city my wheels get so dirty I leave black marks on my white floor and is so hard to clean.
