MY WHEELED TANK MADE SOME PLAYERS SALTY - VBC (PT2)

The VBC PT2 in War Thunder is an Italian Wheeled Tank with a Dardo Turret housing a 25mm cannon with an extremely high rate of fire!
For what is a basically an Italian Centauro with a Dardo turret minus the ATGM's this thing is a monster! It's nice to see Italy getting some love at 8.7 battle rating because this compliments a really nice lineup for Italian Tanks!
The VBC (PT2) is EXTREMELY fast around the battlefield, rivalled only by the Radkampfwagon and the Rooikat. The cannon has a maximum penetration of 92mm thanks to its tiny little APFSDS rounds meaning it's not great at dealing with most tanks front on but due to your speed, it's easy to flank and start shredding enemies from the sides!
This tank is SUPER good and really fun to play! It's basically a giant RCV! :)

It's not the terrain it's the dumb netcode thing where things a longer distance tend to "float" and move in weird patterns to "ease network usage". Look at any vehicle over 2.5~3km in bino's and they'll be floating around and moving in weird lines not at all aligned with their hull. Gaijin still stuck in 2007.

@@MuitoDaora you can clearly see that in many of the shots the missile just lands next to the gepard and explodes just near it which doesnt kill it. I think only in one shot the gepard actually shoots down the missile

Yea the game itself tends to show a vehicle somewhere it isnt which was what def happened to that first missle he sent. Go play a heli pve or ground assault game and lock onto a target at 4km out. The lock on tends to make the target move to where it actually is so it literally showcases that the tank isnt even "where it is"

Also the AS20 missiles got massively nerfed, their TNT equivalent is now only 15kg. At some point it was like 30kg. The US Bullpups meanwhile are still the same with 58kg of TNT equivalent...

Your 20 people example is propaby right for some premium player as he will be less likely to be baned just because he is paying for the game. And expect less shenanigans and more accurate fire if you are paying for the premium... I left World of Tanks because of it and after 2 weeks i started to wonder if i am experiencing the same in War Thunder and the answer was not. But that was over 8 years ago, nowdays it is even worse that it was in WoT back then. They were at least trying to hide it with all the random place where your projectile gonna hit in your aiming circle, here in WT Russians are not even trying to hide it. You often are hiting over and over the same spot even if you try to move to somehow change the spot that causing you to do no damage to the enemy vehicle... There were no shots like that when they introduced tanks into this game, the optics was not working as some super armor and driver hatch on Soviet T-34 was a weak spot and much, much more...

Okay. I know wait for the french VBCI to make it in. It is basically the same as this one but there is a special version of it made for Greece with a 40mm automatic canon AND an ultra modern ATGM. PUMA, be scared. The french tech tree has a real lack on IFVs so come on Gaijin, don't be shy, we created a LOT of these. Fun fact about the VBCI (which means Véhicule Blindé de Combat d'Infanterie/Armored Infantry Combat Vehicle) during the war of Afghanistan. The thing just blown up on a IED, lost two of its four right wheels, then managed to go back to his base where it got repared. Two hours later, the crew went back to fire with the vehicle. Must be so disappointing for the enemy;

This here is my absolute most FAVORITE vehicle in the entire game XD. thing is fast, surprisingly survivable, and the gun is just a joy to use. I ALWAYS have fun when playing this thing, and Iheavily recommend everyone to try out the Italian tech tree just to enjoy the Centauros at these tiers. :)

mhm except Italy is the least played nation and ive literally only seen 1 other VBC in a match, so 2 total, not to mention it faces much stronger premium vehicles that literally EVERYONE uses. If anything, the Centauro is an infinitely better vehicle, and why get the Centauro when the WMA301 exists at a lower BR? If this thing flanks and kills you, that's a skill issue, because it should never kill you if you are even remotely paying attention.

There is that wheeled huge turret auto gun one, the many toyotas with anti ship missiles and the newer IFV but it's the same thing as the type 89. I'd be curious to know if you could name literally anything else jpn could use for top tier. Otherwise it seems like the tree is done for the most part

Try using landingflaps, they slow you down much more but keep you airborne so chute deploys instantly when touching down

Nords and Bullpups been acting funky. Its like the old bug where GBUs that hit directly onto a enemy tank would just do massive damage to it, destroying all modules outside the tank and the engine

This thing will beat pretty much any light tank in a fight for 2 reasons. That 25mm just hoses tanks down in 25mm apfsds. Besides it's speed, it's armor is more effective then you may expect, and because the crew is well spaced it's a bit tricky to one shot.

Just for a complete info. It's called "Freccia" (arrow) and is an IFV (Infantry Fighting Veichle)

At the beginning it had the acronym VBC, then in the early 2000s it became the VBM Freccia. 🛑The VBC has: 1) The old hull (present in the game). 2) Dardo turret. 🛑The Freccia of the first Tranchea/batch has: 1) The old hull 2) Hitfist Plus turret. 🛑The second Tranchea/batch of Freccia have: 1) New hull 2) Hitfist Plus turret We are also updating our Freccia 1st/2nd tranche in Freccia PLUS. I don't like to call all these versions of this IFV simply "Freccia", you have to split the types since they have different characteristics.

We also have the VBCI Philoctete, was developped for Greece. He have a 40mm gun coupled with two MMP's launcher and a new Armor.
