That is why I started fasting several days before Ramadhan. So when caffeine withdrawals hit me I can break my fast guilt free. That way the first days of Ramadhan became less stressful.

For the ones nitpicking, please remember that Islam was revealed gradually over the course of 23 years. Ibn Abdu Rabbih reported: Abdul Malik said to his father Umar ibn Abdul Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him, “O father, what is the matter that you do not implement the commands? By Allah, I would not mind if it caused discord between us as long as it was the truth.” Umar said, “Do not make it so, my son. Verily, Allah blamed wine-drinking in the Quran twice and on the third time He made it unlawful. I fear that if I compelled people to follow the truth all at once, they would reject it all at once and that would cause a tribulation.” Source: al-ʻIqd al-Farīd 5/185
@ME-yp7fn
@ME-yp7fn 2 ай бұрын
al-ʻIqd al-Farīd isn't really a good cited source by Muslim scholars, more likely to be cited by soften-the-heart preachers, those people are mostly not scholars, I would like if you cite Sahih hadith and Sunnah from actual sources. However, I got your message and understand the intent, but tell new Muslims about such things from the beginning and ask Allah to give them strength to guide them, that is better than confuse them and lead them astray through innovation بدعة.

@isabelgesay7532
@isabelgesay7532 Ай бұрын
@obsolete9734 Thank you for reaching out. May Allah make it easy for you as you navigate through the various difficulties that manifest on your path. I'm happy to share some advice, but I would highly recommend speaking with a scholar at a local masjid or online for better guidance. What I can say is that when we come across a notion in life that fundamentally alters how we view the world, we must first recognize that truth for what it is. The difficulties we encounter in life are constant and will echo through our lives, but truth is eternal, and it resonates with the core of our experiences. My recommendation is to take your shahada (declaration of faith) and become Muslim before everything else because that is an affirmation that you have recognized the truth and your creator and accepted it into your heart and life. When it comes to the people we love, it's important to give them space and reveal things gradually. Maybe it's worth investigating the root causes of the hostility and trying to address it from there. Most of the time the aggression is based on perceptions that's not grounded in the truth. I also recommend making a lot of dua (prayer), but try to make your heart present and quiet your mind. Dig deep into your emotions and bring them to the surface and ask Allah in sincere humility to guide you in this matter. Take a moment before to praise him as if you were entering into the court of a king and then send salutations to his messenger, the Prophet (PBUH), then ask Allah for whatever you desire. Take as long as you need and try to shed tears, so that you can put the full breath of your being into the prayer. Do this as long and as often as you can having full faith that Allah will respond (even if you have doubts, just push through them), and then wait patiently. Everytime you'll feel a weight is lifted from your chest and peace will resonate in your chest. I wish you all the success in this world and pray for your eternal success. Please feel free to reach out anytime. May Allah guide you and make this easy for you.

Arrr she's a star. You two are super cute together 😍 "Ramadan Mubarak!" Eid Mubarak now instead. I hope you're having a good one and enjoying eating again. The feeling of it is a parallel to depriving ourselves of desires in this life, and having to work hard and sacrifice for Allah's sake, then the next life is the big "Eid" where we finally get to chill out and enjoy ourselves and not have to struggle anymore.

I love this brothers channel. Hes such a nice guy. Alhamdulillah. Absolutely awesome. What an adorable couple. What a lovely patient wife and what a funny husband. I love how your british/welsh mannerisms are still part of your islamic life. The cheers f0r the ramadan mubarak, the multiple ramadan mibaraks is very sweet and the dog in the house and licking the face hahaha😂😂😂😂😂. None of which is done in muslim homes but its arorable watching as you slowly come closer to islam. Keep it up bro, it all takes time, during which allahs blessing will help you on your journey. Ignore any negative comments along the way and take good advise from reputable muslim teachers. May allah make it easy for you and your family. Eid mubarak bro (and sis). ❤

The first days can be more difficult. But suprisingly the body gets used to it. Also, keep on being doing on things, so you dont think about food and water too much. Also, ramadan is about not cursing, getting rid of bad habits and getting in the habit of praying on time and doing good deeds.
