I love this song. I also was a fat bottomed girl. Although I am now 72, everything is smaller now than it use to be. So it's the old saying, better late than never! From the end of the 70's Queen has been a big part in my music interest and Brian kind of an idol for me. That doesn't possibly be so obvious in my guitar playing but still. Queen's and Freddie's music is quite interesting in a way because they had so many just incredibly magnificent songs but they also had quite stupid and poor songs. Majority still the great ones. But like i said, glad that Queen has found it's way to a new listener...And this song is among the great ones. Cheers! If you want to hear a beautiful song, I highly recommend, "Who Wants to Live Forever", from the soundtrack for the original "Highlander" movie. So beautiful. That and "The Show Must Go On". Now they have a different meaning once we lost Freddie. RIP.

There’s a video somewhere out there on KZbin that shows the hit titles of every queen song, and which band member wrote that song. The list of hits is mind blowing, at least to me, the most impressive thing about this piece is how evenly the distribution of writing credits go to each of the individual band members. It’s something you just don’t see. The depth of the band talent is unmatched. And they always say you can sum up a man pretty accurately by his wife, you are an amazing guy. She’s a keeper.

One of the BBC team at the event, Paul Gambaccini, said the other stars (major stars) stood backstage in awe; they all knew Queen was stealing the show. He said afterward Elton John rushed into Freddie Mercury's trailer and told Queen, "You bastards, you stole the show!" (apparently said jovially). And they did. They absolutely did.

At the end of the song it's mentioned "Get on ya Bikes and ride". That's a reference to the twin song of this song, "Bicycle Race". Many USA public didn't get to see it because the video was banned. Queen got a bunch of models, about 40 or so, to ride bikes NAKED as part of the video. LOL. It's amazing.

Absolutely yes you have to bring her back for more Queen. The Live Aid set is still amazing. They packed a 3 hour set into a little less than 30 mins. The highlight of the set, for me, is the crowd singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Radio Gaga". "Hammer To Fall" is spectacular in my opinion. But you have to introduce her to the song "'39" as well. Great track on an awesome record.
