Didn't you hear him say that he was in debt a while ago because of all these businesses that she starts that don't work out, not only him but the whole family was, because of her ,so much so that he had to go back to doing the shipping work because of that which is another reason why he would rather she work less cause it's not always a good thing. Also he has said that their kids are all group now and the youngest has even graduated from college now so there is no need for her to work as much anymore so, no it's not about her sacrificing herself, it's just that she lives to work, she said that herself. It's not like they are struggling and the whole family needs to pitch in. He even talked about wanting to travel with her and all that , so why would he want her to work less and travel with him if they were struggling to make ends meet and needed the money?

@@Bucherviews That's definitely possible. I think the husband's main complaint was not just her spending so much time at the diner though. He wanted to do trips and have her relax. It's hard to relax when you're literally at work the whole week.

If he wanted her to rest more, that would at least save her the long commute? It's not a perfect solution, but I did find his insistence that she do that commute (on top of her long working hours!) instead of him commuting to her (as he has more free time) a bit not-the-best-way. But of course I don't know their relationship, and I don't know how bad the diner is to stay in, so...

I thought this concern was quite serious. It comes off as cute because they're geniunely cute people and this show tends to use humor as a deflection during tough discussion, but I wouldn't label any of her habits as healthy. She's much to into her life to be wrapped up in celebrities; young people shouldn't be fixated or obssessed about an idol, let alone an elderly person! When you're in that stage of your life, family is truly your support and sustenance. I don't mean to dramatize this, and I genuinely hope it's not as serious as it comes off as.

근데 걱정인게 계속 일하던 분들이 쉬면 아프더라구요....저희 어머니도 한평생 일하며 혼자 자식 둘 키우셨는데 자식이 성인이 됐고 하니 일을 한달정도 쉬셨는데 그때부터 몸이 아프시더라구요... 두분 서로 합의하며 결정해야죠 뭐....으휴
