Today i tell you about how my first few days at school were in the UK after spending a few year prior to that living in Kenya and travelling to the UK for medical treatment for my eye condition. I share the culture shock of living in fhe UK versus visiting, how I had to learn to be self sufficient, navugating the vedy different school system and syllabus, making friends as a migrant teenager who was also an introvert, and generally finding shere i fir in. This is an expsdience many young people have when their family delo relocate to a new destination. I share my story candidly, and reflect on some good and challenging aspects of my journey as a teenager in a new and foreign school.
