Great information man. I appreciate it greatly. My first grow definitely had some rot issues and my power bill was through the roof. Any tips on reducing power use?

Glad you enjoyed the video! We've just tried to be energy efficient in the tools we're using over time but definitely early on it was just (can we make this work) lol. This might be a fun topic to cover going into the new year

@@TheConsciousCultivators-wq9sc yeah, the bills are or were the least of my concerns also. Needless to say my electric bill skyrocketed.. cut costs where you can like using, tap water and either filtering it or adjusting the pH, I was buying gallons and gallons of spring water and it becomes cumbersome. Pure coco coir is what I use for substrate and though it works pretty well by itself, I do recommend adding in some perlite for better drainage as Coco tends to hold water well, and it also gets costly quickly. I am looking to switch over to ProMix myself here shortly.

I feel you on that! When I started I was doing the same thing. I honestly haven’t measured the ph of my water in years and all of my crops grow just fine. I will make a video shedding light about some of these things! Thank you so much for commenting! I’m wishing you the best of luck moving forward! If there is ever anything I can do to help shoot me a message and I’ll be glad to help how I can!

I just experienced the same thing with my first winter, and trying to learn to control humidity. I grow in tents and thought it would somehow be a good idea to turn the exhaust fan off for the night. Needless to say, when I woke up and looked at my phone, I went straight to panic mode and expected the worst, 97 percent humidity and looked exactly how you described, like someone had taken a hose sprayed down the inside of the tent. I thought all hope was lost! Luckily all electronics were ok and are still working fine to this day (this was about a month or so ago). Definitely a learning experience. LOL

Hey man I'm glad you were able to sort it out in time though! Losing the entire crop is not fun. Deffff a learning experience haha
