My Wish list for Season 2 Lee 🌹 Tekken 8

DF3,2,3 launch on BT and F3+4 floor break is all I truly need. Everything else will be a bonus including heat buff as, I am happy with current Lee🌹

Df 3,2,3 being a launcher would be so epic for Lee. In T7 it was amazing. I also miss the heat dash follow up too! I used to use that hms UF4 into blazing kick when I was battle ruler

Honestly DF3,2,3 launch and F3+4 floor break is my top 2 in the way list that he must have it in Season 2, Everytging else is would be nice but not really needed 🌹

I use df3 as df2 substitute to track Lee's left in this game. It became a ch confirmed string so I don't think a launch is appropriate. Still I would love to have its range improved by a little.

​@ Please do share. And I meant a relatively quicker one to cover the opponent throwing random i15 launcher. i21 1+2 is too slow. I normally did df1 for check but df3 for a read of opponent ssr.

I believe you cover perfectly all Lee's quality of life issues. (Except hms 1+2 +2 on block which is a wet dream 😅) Personally my top wish list is some ff2 buff, probably on shortening the recovery frames (more intense pressuring at the same frame advantage), lowering the starting frame, or tracking Lee's right (catching opponent sw when they expect Lee wr34). The other one would be easier wr input out of moves that end in mist step. We currently need to press 'up' and input 3x 'f'. It would be cool if we could just ff3,4 from ff2f and b3,3f.

Think you're being a bit greedy. If we got all that, we'd end up eating nerfs for the rest of the season, I'm sure. Primary issue that needs adressing is that Lee needs some actual heat mechanics

Lee is one good buff away from being top tier. I think hes absolutely fine how he is but the s2 new move should be a viable and fun thing like a CH with guaranteed followup but one that requires execution or something

I see a lot of people suggesting what I would also like so I would like to hopefully be unique in suggesting these 2 ideas: I am a new tekken player so please take with grain of salt - Mist step 3,4 (the two kick launcher) should auto parry/sabaki kicks from the opponent. I almost never see mist step 3,4 being used by lee players and I guess that’s because there is never a situation where you want to use that launcher over something simpler like a 15 frame hopkick or ws 14 frame. So maybe if it had kick sabaki (auto parry mid/high kicks) and also make it a bit special by being able to sabaki hopkick launchers to (airborne kicks) In my eyes I feel this wouldn’t be overpowered since it’s not a quick start up (i15 plus mist step input frames) and it’s -13 on block like any other normal launcher. Being able to sabaki airborne kicks would give lee just a bit more variety without having to change the frame data or animation (personally the two kicks look like they should do more than just normal hit launch. - Running 3,4 should have the first kick be a -13 on block normal hit launch but finishing the string leads to the same state as we have now. So a little mind game with running 3,4 would be that running 3 is a full launch but punishable at -13 and so finishing the string leads to the same plus (+3 or +6 hms iirc) frames but no launch. The threat of the plus frame follow up on running 3 would make it a more mentally safe launcher, while still being sidestep punishable which is the current counter play anyways. It would be a i14 frame launcher plus the running input but after heat dash situations it would lead to an uninterruptible mid launcher that has an already great plus mid move to finish or not finish the string.

@@KomZeee I do not think so crouch jab already beats almost all of his options then you have char specific stuff(jun being able to hop kick and beating every option but UF3) HMS jab is plus 2 already aswell and that barely helps I do not see 1+2 being helpful for plus frames its mostly a counterhit tool when you hit IWR

I think I would re-work his heat completely. Maybe have all his JFs get properties in Heat when you do them perfectly? Like you said, cd3 should knock down, b112 could get a guaranteed blazing kick, and maybe even make b1, 1+2 screw launch? (a i14 launcher in heat would be awesome) ff2 could maybe be +6-7 on block in Heat too, or better blockstun animation, 3, 3 jf could give HM uf4 guaranteed. Only thing I can't really think of one for is acid kicks, but changes like this could be good for making JFs actually worthwhile to do in Heat (other than for maintaining the meter)

Make acid rain wallsplat in heat if u do just frame. Other characters like heihachi have a 10f wallsplat ounisher, why cant lee get one too. Also make 44:4 unduckable in heat. This makes going for CH launch safer. Just frame slide should knock down in heat and free uf3 follow up

Those are legit buffs that I really really wish get incorporated but some would be too op imo like parry kicks, knocked down heatNHslide or HM1+2 being plus on block. Would be too spammed. And the "only" blazing kick garanteed after heat dash thing, isn't it every character got nerfed like that about garanteed moves after Heat Dash? I personally root for a safe low as his new move +bonus style points if there's a just frame version of it. Side note, I wonder if they gonna incorporate stuff like combot rose grenade or guns from his armor suit in his new move

i think lee’s hms u3 should be +5 on block cuz probably every character have a heat engager move that is mid and plus on block even lars have that so i think this is good buff also hms1+2 on ch should give us an u3 guaranteed follow up and if heat is activated lee should get a launcher from that move exactly like reina and also heat buffs

I gotta disagree on some tracking stuff. I think having a clear weakness is great. Unfortunately, some of his chunky hits that are plus on hit are bad, such as DB3+4. I do want some spacing fixes. Also his heat smash and heat in general needs to be better. No guard breaks but something

Tracking isn’t an issue as you can delay the input to hit ss. But devs nerfed his tracking a lot in a have with improve side steps 🌹

idk I feel like bringing back the tracking on b4 is kind of unnecessary and redundant. 1+2 has basically the same range and startup, if you want the tracking just go for 1+2. Tbh I think b4 being fully relegated to keep out is better, the move kinda did too much in t7 if you ask me. Otherwise I really like most of your suggestions, Great video 🌹

Also, they added useless HMS transitions that are forced. Like WS 1 into HMS or B 2 4 into HMS. We should have the option to do that with 3+4.

I just want lee to have actual heat mechanics. Right now not only is his heat weak, its also boring. Other characters get new moves, new stances etc. What does lee get? Easier jsut frames and ff3 heat dash launch. its so boring
