Engine is bulletproof then there's the rest of the Mercedes terrible switches, silly air suspension update the navigation añd entertainment then turn it off so you can enjoy the blissful whine of 5.4L of hand built supercharged forged internals and a lovely exhaust note especially with the kleeman long tubes and no cat's. 💪😀❣️= more smiles per mile

Brother, brilliant video, i know what you mean about the cls55amg as i have one. Puts a massive grin on my face each and everytime. I just want your opinion on the handling. I do find it to be boaty like. I dont know if i need to just get used to the air suspension or something is not right on my suspension.

It’s due to the air suspension :) considering it’s a 2.5 ton car with old air suspension it handles a lot better than I thought when I owned one! But yes definitely handles like a boat haha

the sound is pretty much on the level of the cls 63 6.2l, similar exhaust tone, it has more torque and power too. i just bought my second 6.2l , a w212 e63 (needed rear folded seats) othrwise i really really really realy wanted a cls 55. lve done most of the engines but not the kompressor or the V12, i always wanted to drive the 55, your video does a great job of giving an idea of the smiles per gallon.

Yeah they were 100% built to last long.. but it's not even that you know... cara from that era seem to be out dated to this date but the cls is 100% ahead of its time!

@@Sa3Tv if anything check out the face lifted rear lights which are led I think you may need a new loom or module to make them work but they do bring the car to a newer look, also what’s the biggest wheel size these cars can run without rubbing, I’ve got 20s on mine but need to but some bigger side walled tyres as they are stretched tyres?
