You are very fortunate at having a card shop five miles away, i imagine bc you dont have car now nor does anyone you know, you must be very young, you cant really change that but having a shop 5 and 10 miles away is incredibly convenient considering how difficult it is for card shops to carry YGO products nowadays because of awful Konami policies, I used to have to drive 30 minutes to work when I was in community college and the only ots store was 15-20 mins further from that

Allaround great points. >Yugioh is too expensive. Bonefire costed $130 in its prime so one copy woul be on par with 2 AAA Games or a dozen indie darlings. Also you need 3. Weigh up all that fun from Vidya against being able to play Yugioh for however often you play it with Bonefire at 3 'n' being staple for your deck. >Complaining is often but we can't often give solutions because its out of our hands and Konami won't listen. People were spamming "Ban FIrewall" under every post and it still took like a year. >Yugioh's cultural impact has been non-existant for over a decade besides a few niche memes (Dramatic Crossroads and "It should've been me, not him!"). No wonder people only reference DM and beatoff that dead horse so they can milk it for sperm.

On the distance to a card shop, my closest is also 8km (5 miles) but its not difficult because I just take the bus. I guess I can understand if wherever you're from has bad public transport though, I live in Australia where it is simple and easy.
