My Z800 CPU upgrade! Plus extra fans for more horsepower!

Im learning, I didn't realize this card with a DDR5 would work in a z800. I thought that desktop only uses DDR3 ram so I presumed the DDR reference would be the same? Is there a list of compatible cards or ?

i just upgraded mine, but i used x5680s. these are way faster and get about 3100 in cinebench.

Have you checked compatibility with this processor - intel X5690 ?

X5690 is the highest spec you can put in the Z800, however if you run 2 of these you should get the bigger PS, and turn the fans way up.

your memory cooler fans dont turn, check that :)
