As an astrology nerd I just felt the need to say that you should definitely check out your birth chart. Your sun sign (the day that you were born eg: if someone was born on 5th February they would be a Aquarius) actually has little to no significance to your personality. The real thing that matters is your ascendant and moon sign. If you go into a natal/birth chart calculator (i recommend cafe astrology) and enter your birth time, place of birth and date of birth you can get your natal chart (which is basically the arrangement of the planets and stars when you were born). This natal chart is basically a broad perspective of someones personality, life and karma. There are *_12 'houses'_* in astrology. Each of them has a sign assigned to them from Capricorn to Sagittarius. Your *_ascendant_* (or rising sign) is the astrological sign that was ascending on the eastern horizon at the time you were born. It is basically the way you portray yourself in public and what others perceive of you when they first meet you. It tells us your physical appearance and determines how the rest of your chart looks. For example a person with a Libra ascendant will like aesthetics and nature and avoid conflict at all costs. They love harmony and strive for balance. A Pisces ascendant will be incredibly intuitive, sensitive and creative. They tend to day dream a lot and always want to 'escape' in one way or another. Your *_moon sign_* is the position of the moon when you were born. This sign portrays how you are with you family and your close friends. It shows us your emotional side, intuition, memories, feelings and how you act in the comfort of your home or when you're alone. It is the second most important aspect of your chart. In the case of clothing, the 1st house (or ascendant) plays a major influence in the way you dress in public and your style.
