You're very fortunate. That could have ended really badly. Years ago, I was trail riding way out in some deep woods on my RMZ-450 and it caught fire. Not a damn thing I could do about it. I at least kept it from burning down the entire woods, but the bike was roasted. I only had maybe 80 hours on it. Glad the bike was okay, but glad you were okay. Bikes can be replaced. Burns and skin grafts are not something you want that's for sure.
