Panama Canal Railway onboard southbound passenger train

I don't know why, but something about the way the horn's echoing doppler effect everytime it blasts through the catenaries sounds so eerie and epic at the same time!

Looks like this line could be electrified cheaply. The gantries are high enough to take the double stacks plus catenary. And there's power. At 48 miles this could be fed with one feeder station in the middle at 25-0-25kv ac 60Hz. Point to point intermodal freight plus passenger are good for this mode.

I remember reading someplace, I cannot recall where that the train locomotives came from the Kansas City Southern Railroad in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, can you verify this.

In the background it sounds as if the dispatcher is speaking in english, are communications on the railraod done in english? Do you know if the dispatcher is local or does the KCS dispatcher's in the US dispatch PCRR?

Yes, all radio talk is in English. I believe the dispatcher is local (or at least at the time the video was made)
