This week's guest is Dona Carla from Batukizer (formerly known as Epic Vinyls From Brazil).
Batukizer is Dona Carla from Rio and Rasmus from Copenhagen. They spend a lot of time digging for rare records and playing DJ sets with amazing and little-known music. They live currently in Copenhagen and have toured festivals and venues throughout Europe, India and Brazil.
For this Brazilian selection, Dona Carla presents some samba delights from 1969 to 1984. A selection of funky songs with all female singers.
This session was recorded at Plukk - the Urban Plant Café in Aarhus, Denmark.

I didn't know any word of Português language (the same about English) until several years ago (perhaps almost 10 yrs ago) that I started learning a liiitle bit of it ,thus since I was a child got my attention the brazilian music and its rythms and of course the amazing language! Now I just turned 40 yrs a few days ago and enjoying,still learning and knowing more artists, bands, groups that sing in Português and not only from Brazil,but also the other Português speaker nations around the world.
