Just tried this. On power-up I got a text from my carrier saying that the phone is only partially compatible with their network which may affect coverage and data speeds. So far so good though.

This will happen sometimes. Especially with carrier specific phones. Unlocked phones don't have all of the abilities that a Verizon phone will on a Verizon network. That is how they try to keep you locked into a lifetime of phone payments.... Thanks for the comment and thank you for watching.
