4:27, this is Burmese pancakes called (Bein Mont) and it was my absolute favourite as a child living in Yangon. There are 2 versions, the red one being more sweet and the white one being more light as it has chickpeas. I loved the white one while my mother favoured the red one. Watching this is making me miss my home country! There were delicious food the moment you step outside

See the satisfaction on their faces? They may not be earning thousands but what they are doing is purely an honest means of livelihood. No work-place competitions and back stabbings or getting huge monthly salaries but still unhappy with life. These humble street hawkers are the symbol of true simplicity. Love and cheers from singapore. 💐

It's the thanaka. It is a paste made from ground bark. The wood of several trees are used to produce thanaka cream. These trees grow abundantly in central Myanmar. It is a distinctive feature of the culture of Myanmar, seen commonly applied to the face and sometimes the arms of women and girls.
