Great video, thank you for posting this video. I miss my country. I hope you have a good trip. Over 60 years the military corrupted government destroyed our country the civilian are suffer a lot. We just step up to democracy, we need supporting around the world and encouraging Burmese people. Who ever visiting Myanmar are same as you help Myanmar, when we got a lot tourist many locals people they got a job. The most you spend your money in locals people hand the most effective to helping.

The resilience and resolve of the people not to be down trodden is depicted well in this video along with their improvisation amid abject poverty and a lack of infrastructure. The Junta has bought this nation to its knees and the people are now healing by re-building their lives with what little freedom has now been bestowed upon them - not by the Junta cuz they continue to do nothing - but by their vague hope for happiness and prosperity. In 2015 under the auspices of Suu Kyi a nation is reborn

What becomes apparent is how much talent has been squandered - so many decades lost and generations of clever people under employed. The average age 27 of the people now - lets hope all of them can reach their full potential where the stolen generations could not. A taxi drive recalled his time as Chair of a major company but said he was now happier driving a taxi as the Junta made his life unbearable - he knew of his compromise but knew also it was not of his choosing - A clever peoples denied

A nice interlude of relief from the repression that overwhelms Burma and its gentle people. The violent acts of some do not define a nation it is the will of good people to courageously continue to eek out a living no matter the repression. If the Junta would just leave them be - how wonderful it could always be and not just occasioning in a video. This is how we want Burma to be all the time - they'v been to hell lets hope paradise awaits after five decades of hellish pervasive fear

I feel you and same as my country too for many year in Vietnam as long as 1 government or communist control they do not care for their own people as long as they have money and power in their pocket......shame on them, may God bless your people.

it is for pets.. look like animal being mistreated!! But this is Burma and even human being are mistreated regardless of basic rights by the regime. I hope, things will change in the near future and animal are treated well, so does the human being.

A people fighting back not willing to put their lives on hold - even though their so-called leaders procrastinate the notion of 'disciplined democracy' - here in the Rangoon the people's capital people get on with democracy setting an example for the Generals who sit in seperated in parliament. A vague sense of hope it maybe but it binds a people together in Rangoon with a real sense of purpose to regain years lost to the Generals whose lack of purpose makes no sense but a nonsense of democracy
