I love these as well, I got set #1 about 3 months ago but then due to covid I had trouble finding set #2 at a reasonable price but finally about 3 weeks ago I found it again. I haven't had a chance to play with them as much as I want yet but looking forward to finding out how well they work with other supplies such as watercolor, colored pencils etc. I think they would make a great underpainting as well as just using them on their own.

I absolutely LOVE THESE. I own all the sets of these these two and then the iridescent set and the drawing set as well. I had to have all four sets the only thing I don’t have yet is the watercolor set of the Hydrus Inks. Those are on my Christmas list for this year. I think these are so beautiful and they will last so long because you don’t really use all that much. Another great swatch video. Take care.

My Art Supply Obsession lol... I know I can’t help myself. They look so pretty. Plus my husband even figured it out that it made more sense to just buy them all at once up front . Because he knows eventually someday I might want one of those other colors for something and they will last pretty much forever . So he said why not not just buy them now. We don’t drink, we don’t smoke and we don’t gamble... so this makes me happy and making me happy makes him happy. He always buys me complete sets of colored pencils everything and he understands that it’s better to get quality over quantity also. He’d rather I buy higher quality products then lower end products he says he can see a difference in the end product. He’s right. I think as long as you have a really good foundation to start with (paper, you’ll be ok even with mediocre art supplies). Take care.

I have started to buy these several times but I don’t like how everything settles at the bottom. No matter how much I shake it doesn’t mix. Is there a secret?

This is pigment based so you will always have to shake it up. It's totally normal.

OMG i want That second set by dr ph martins so bad. I have orderd set 1 and it comes wensday. But amazone doesn,t have the seconde set in stock. I am so sad

My question is this on textured compressed pulp paper that’s been dyed by fabric dye stick to it and be waterproof and if dye that same paper with India ink stop the bleeding of the fabric dye and make the paper waterproof with the India ink on it?
