HELLO, Do you know how to fix audio issue on AVID Mbox 3. It's so low I can't record vocals with it. Flat line. The 2 inputs are like that, used a headphone as mic on both channels and it works fine. (Not the MIC) help!!!

I record in a program call singsnap. I call it quarantine karaoke. LOL .. my problem is latency when recording from my Boss BR1600 thru a Scarlett Solo to my computer. The voice and music always seem to be out of sync with each other. Am I just dreaming or is there a way to sync them up before uploading it to singsnap?

Hey J.R., unfortunately I've never used Singsnap, so I'm not exactly sure how you would need to adjust to prevent latency. I would look for "Buffer/Sample Size" settings and dial back the sample size to a lower setting if that's an option 👍🏼

Hello Jordan ones question. I have a scarlett safire. I see for recording vocals you use a mono channel. When I try to record my vocals in a stereo channel , I get the mics signal only in one channel , not both left and right. Why is that? how can I get the signal in both channels?? I am not sure why vocals go in a mono channel Thanks for your help.

You want your vocals on a mono because it was recorded on one mic and because it’s in the middle of the mix

I have pro tools 12 and the inserts and sends don’t show up in the window like yours does, how can I reconfigure the layout to look like that? And I also have Antares auto tune, but can’t seem to monitor it live pre recording. Do I need to create a bus for it ? I’m very new to recording in home. @6:40 should help with your question 👍🏼 With Auto Tune, after you get your window layout adjusted, just open it on your insert tab and you should be in the game! I like to put auto tune on the actual audio track rather than a bus.

But it will only play or you can only hear the effect once the vocal has already been recorded that’s not really good in terms of usage or functionality. I’m trying to hear it live as opposed to post. Is there a specific Auto-Tune insert in supposed to be using , pro, artist , effx, momo/stereo it’s giving me quite the headache to be honest

Itz _ Jay the easiest way would be muting the audio track you’re recording then unmuting when playing it back. The “M” button on your audio track mutes the audio.
